Review: Handi-Move

Product Information

Manufacturer: SureHands International

Reviewed by: Jackie Clerc from Jackie Clerc , Michigan

Why did you purchase the product?
To assist me in transferring from my front wheel amigo to the commode in the half-bath. I do this alone. My entire right side and legs are paralyzed. This lifting system is portable. My husband uses it to assist me in the master bathroom, bedroom, and living room for physical therapy. We have tracks in all of these rooms. The portable Handi-Move can be transferred manually by my husband to all of these rooms. It has been well worth the money. Total cost of the two portable, one electrical system, and all the tracks is approximately $20,000.00. We would not be without them.

How well did the product meet your needs?
If I could not use it in the half bath alone, I would have to have a caretaker with me while my husband is at work. I am alone 10-12 hours/day. My husband could not get me up and down on the floor for physical therapy in the living room. We have a 15-foot track there. In this room we often use it to get me into and out of my recliner. In the master bathroom, we would have an extremely hard time bathing. It has gotten me up off the floor in the master bedroom.
