  1. ADULT HANDCYCLE BY PALMER

    The Adult Handcycle by Palmer is a three-wheeled, hand propelled cycle designed for use by adults with arthritis or mobility, balance, or neurological disabilities. This cycle is designed for wheelchair users as a means of recreation or alternative mobility, and others who wish to exercise the upper torso. Features include ease of entry/exit, a low center of gravity, a choice of in-line or opposed cranking, three-speed coaster brake, parking brake, adjustable seat, and a large rear basket. OPTIONS: Foot pedals,variable electric power, safety flag, crutch holder, and others. DIMENSIONS (WxLxH): 27 x 70 x 39 inches. WEIGHT: 65 pounds. COLOR: Red.

    The Commander Tricycle is a powered three wheel cycle designed for use by individuals with arthritis, mobility disabilities, or neurological disabilities. This cycle has three large spoked wheels, a saddle-style seat, upright handlebars, twist grip speed controller, and a rear basket. POWER: Uses an under-basket utility battery for a range of 15 miles or an in-basket industrial battery for a range of 40 miles. A 6 amp automatic charger is included. A Bosch Executive 200 Drive unit is standard. SPEEDS: Up to 10 miles per hour. DIMENSIONS: 24 inches wide.

    The Electra Ride Power Kits are add-on power units for tricycles and bicycles designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities, neurological disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis. These kits mount to most adult tricycles or bicycles and enable risers to choose the amount of assistance required: total power, power-assisted pedaling, or standard pedaling with no power. The kits include the drive unit, battery, battery case, wiring, and all components. Tricycle drive units mount on the front wheel. Model 100 Deluxe is designed for use on adult tricycles for all-purpose cycling on hilly or level terrain and has a one horse power motor. Model 200 Executive for Trikes is is designed for larger riders or those relying primarily on powered cycling and has a two horsepower motor. Model Series 3 is designed for bicycles and is available for men's or women's bikes. The unit has a one horsepower motor and mounts on the front wheel of a women's bike or on either wheel of a men's bike. Model 200 Executive for Bikes is available for men's or women's bikes, has a two horse power motor, and is intended for heavy usage. The drive unit mounts on the front wheel of a women's bike or on either wheel of a men's bike. POWER: Uses the included battery. SPEEDS: The tricycle models have a top speed of 10 miles per hour. The Model Series 3 has a top speed of 17 miles per hour. Model 200 Executive for Bikes has a top speed of 10 miles per hour for a front mount and 15 miles per hour for the men's rear mounted unit. WEIGHT: Model 100 Deluxe and Model Series 3 weigh 10 pounds. Model 200 Executive for Bikes and Model 200 Executive for Trikes weigh 18 pounds.

    The Kids Handcycle by Palmer is a three-wheeled, hand propelled cycle designed for use by children with spinal cord injury, arthritis, or mobility, balance, or neurological disabilities. Features include ease of entry/exit, a low center of gravity, a choice of in-line or opposed cranking, coaster brake, parking brake, foot bar with toe and heel straps, adjustable seat with seat belt, mag wheels, front fender, and a large rear basket.     The Palmer Independence, model 24, is a powered three-wheeled scooter designed for one-handed, outdoor use by individuals with arthritis, mobility or neurological disabilities, or spinal cord injury. The scooter has full differential gear drive, detachable arms, a contoured loop steering wheel, and a dash panel on the steering bar that contains lights, horn, on/off key, and gear indicator light. A twist grip throttle is also located on the steering bar. This scooter is equipped with moped tires. POWER: Uses two group 24 batteries for a range of 25 miles or two group 31 batteries for a range of 50 miles. SPEEDS: Up to 13 miles per hour. OPTIONS: Cover; rear view mirror; seat cover; digital speedometer; trailer hitch; safety flag; and many others. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 72 x 30 x 38 inches. CAPACITY: 550 pounds. WEIGHT: 125 pounds without batteries.

  6. PALMER JOYRIDER

    The Palmer Joyrider is a three wheel cycle designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury, arthritis, mobility disabilities, or neurological disabilities. Available with or without a motor, this cycle features walk-in entry, a contoured seat back, and a large rear basket. The motorized models can be used with power only, with power-assisted pedaling, or pedling without power. A non-motorized double model with two seats, two handlebars, and two front wheels is also available. POWER: The motorized models are availabe with battery-powered 100 or 200 motors. SPEEDS: Up to 10 miles per hour. DIMENSIONS (WxLxH): 28.5 x 68 x 33 inches. CAPACITY: The single models have a 250 pound capacity. WEIGHT: The motorized single models weigh 135 pounds without batteries.

    The Palmer Twosome, model 24, is a two-person, battery-powered three-wheeled cycle designed for outdoor use. This cycle has detachable armrests; full differential gear drive; parking brake; and a large rear basket. This cycle offers one-handed operation with a contoured loop steering bar and a dash panel that contains a gear indicator light, on/off key, lights, horn, and a twist grip throttle. The vehicle is equipped with three 16-inch moped tires on spoked wheels. POWER: Uses two group 24 batteries for a range of 25 miles or two group 31 batteries for a range of 50 miles. SPEEDS: Up to 13 miles per hour. OPTIONS: Cover; seat belts; odometer and digital speedometer; and many others. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 72 x 35 x 38 inches. CAPACITY: 550 pounds.   8. PALMER YARDKART (MODEL 24)

    The Palmer Yardkart, model 24, is a three-wheeled, powered all terrain cart designed for outdoor use by individuals with mobility disabilities. Standard equipment includes an on-off key with locking switch, sealed beam headlight, tail light, brake light, horn, fuel gauge, and large heavy-duty basket. FRAME: Heavy-duty, non-folding frame does not disassemble for transport. The dimensions (LxWxH) are 72 x 35 x 38 inches. CONTROLS: Utilizes a pressure twist grip control on a triangular handlebar to control starting, stopping, steering, and speed for one-handed use. RWD: Rear transaxle gear drive, with five gears. SEAT: Available in single- and two-seater models. The single-seat model is equipped with a molded, unpadded swivel seat with a choice of right- or left-mounted seat lock. A fully padded, non-swivel bench seat and a padded, chair-style seat also are available. The seat may be ordered in an optional 2- or 4-inch lowered configuration. The two-seat model is equipped with a padded bench seat and may be ordered set to the tallest or lowest position. ARMRESTS: Detachable armrests are optional. BRAKES: Features both disc and dynamic brake systems. WHEELS: Includes a large bicycle-style, spoked wheel in front and two wide track rear wheels and tires. OPTIONS: Utility trailer, cover, directional signals, seat belt, rear view mirror, syrrey top, digital speedometer, and others. POWER: Uses two Group 24 batteries for a range of 24 miles or two Group 31 batteries for a range of 40 miles. An optional extra-range package is available. SPEEDS: Maximum speed is 12 miles per hour with a maximum grade of 50%. CAPACITY: 550 pounds. WEIGHT: 160 pounds without batteries. WARRANTY: The manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on the frame, a one-year warranty on the motor, and a six-month warranty on parts and workmanship.

    The Shopper Tricycle is a powered three wheel cycle designed for use by individuals with arthritis, mobility disabilities, or neurological disabilities.
