  1. ADA COMPLIANCE VIDEOS

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 04/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- ADA Compliance Videos are ADA references with accompanying manuals designed to give the user a better understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act and compliance with its regulations. Two titles are available: "Title 1: Employment Practices" and "Title 3: Public Accommodations". Title 1 provides an overview of responsibilities of employers with respect to training, interviewing, and employment practices. Title 3 identifies possible changes that need to be made in a facility so as to make it accessible. Both videos include manuals which contain additional information and commonly asked questions and their answers. VIDEO FORMAT: VHS. LENGTH OF VIDEO: Approximately 30 minutes.

RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. -- Detectable Warning Tiles, models L2157, L2158, L2159, and L2160, are designed to provide a tactile surface to alert persons who are blind or have low vision to hazardous vehicle pathways, transportation platforms, loading docks, curbless intersections and other potentially dangerous situations. These slip-resistant panels have raised truncated domes on the surface that can be felt by the visually impaired with their feet or cane. They have flexible construction forms to fit dips, slopes and inclines in sidewalks and walkways. They can be installed in new construction or as a retrofit into the sloped areas on the sidewalk, using only adhesive or anchors for added security (included). Tiles come in two colors to contrast to the base surface. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 2 2 feet (L2157), 2 x 3 feet (L2158), 2 x 4 feet (L2159), or 2 x 5 feet (L2160). COLOR: Yellow or brick red.

  4. DOOR KNOB CONVERTER

(Verified 02/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Door Knob Converter, model DKB1, is a door handle lever designed to converts any door knob to a lever accessible to those with disabilities in either residential or public settings. Installation consists of putting the lever over existing door knobs with a tool (included). The lever is constructed of a high-tech polymer. FINISH: Brass colored.

  5. FLASHING LIGHT SMOKE DETECTORS

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 02/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Flashing Light Smoke Detector is a flashing light signal and smoke alarm designed to provide both visual and auditory indications of the presence of smoke. This photoelectric smoke detector features a 90 decibel signal and a strobe light with red "FIRE" lettering. A 9-foot cord and mounting hardware for wall mount are included.

  6. PORTABLE ACCESS RAMP

    --- DISCONTINUED (Verified 10/95) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Portable Access Ramp is a fiberglass ramp for use on stairs, curbs, loading docks and other areas (up to 30 inches high) that may not be accessible to wheelchair or cane users. The ramp has an anti-skid surface. DIMENSIONS (WxL): 32 x 59 inches. WEIGHT: 25 pounds. CAPACITY: 400 pounds. COLOR: Beige.
