The standard system includes a transmitter with microphone and a a single channel or six-channel receiver. This portable system features simple user controls and quick installation. OPTIONS: Stand-alone or ceiling-mounted speaker clusters are available to match specific room configurations or to focus sound.
Emulate software is a keyboard interface program and communication device accessory designed to allow VOIS 160 keyboard users to operate computers using the VOIS keyboard. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and IBM compatible computers.
EZ VIEWER LCD
The EZ Viewer LCD is a communication device accessory designed to convert the VOIS 160 electronic synthesized-speech generator (see separate entry) into a laptop-style computer for facilitated viewing and full word- processing capability. The EZ Viewer has a 40-character, 16-line display screen with an automatic sensor to adjust backlighting.
PHONIC EAR BINAURAL FM AUDITORY TRAINING SYSTEMS (MODEL PE 461)
Phonic Ear FM hearing systems are designed for use in classrooms and all learning environments. They are designed to improve speech intelligibility and extend the critical listening distance for the hearing impaired by providing a controlled sound pressure level of the transmitted voice or of sounds from radio, TV, tape recorder or any audio source. The PE 461 transmitter is available with a directional or omni-directional lapel microphone. The PE 461 receiver has seven adjustable output settings and 5 actively filtered frequency responses for each ear. The receiver may be used with standard button transducers, behind-the-ear transducers, or coupled to an individual hearing aid. Long life snap on rechargeable battery packs or replaceable batteries may be used. 32 narrow band transmission channels are available.
PHONIC EAR BINAURAL FM SYSTEM (MODEL PE 471)
The Phonic Ear PE 471 Binaural FM System is an FM amplification system designed for use in a classroom. The PE 471R Binaural Student Receiver has five frequency response selections and seven output levels for each ear. It allows direct switching of FM only, FM + Environmental Mic, and Environmental Mic only. Environmental microphones are non-directional. Receiver has low battery and 'no FM' indicator lights. Students can couple the receiver with the AT 595 Behind-the-Ear Earmic, Direct Audio Input, or Telecoil and Neckloop. The PE 471T has selection for uni-directional or omni-directional microphones. Audio-Input allows for connection to tape players and movies. Also features a 'talk-over' mode. This transmitter has a low battery indicator. Rechargeable/interchangeable batteries provide a maximum life of 20 hours of operation. Battery charger/organizer accommodates one to twelve units and has lights to confirm proper charge connections.
PHONIC EAR CONFERENCE MIC AT 530
The Phonic Ear Conference Mic AT 530 is an FM transmission system to be used as a transmitter alternative with any Phonic Ear FM system. It combines an acoustically controlled microphone and antenna system in a single unit with no visible wires, antennae, or electronics. When placed on a table or any hard surface, it picks up the speaker's voice within a 15 ft. radius. For use in individual or group meetings.
PHONIC EAR FST FREQUENCY SELECTIVE TRANSMIT (MODEL PE 481)
The Phonic Ear FST (Frequency Selective Transmitter) is an FM transmission system designed for classroom use. The PE 481 FST allows one to transmit on any of the 40 narrow-band channels to any FM receiver in the 72-76 MHz band. To change transmitting frequency, remove the AT 491 color-coded System 4 RO (receiver oscillator) and insert another RO of the desired frequency. Transmitter comes with high capacity modular battery pack. Single system and expandable group battery chargers available. This transmitter is good for use as a back-up transmitter or for single system use.
PHONIC EAR PE475 PERSONAL FM SYSTEM
The Phonic Ear Personal FM System, model PE475, is an FM amplification system designed to improve listening conditions by reducing the effects of background noise, reverberation, and distance between the speaker and the listener for persons with hearing disabilities. The portable system is designed to provide a direct wireless transmission of the speaker's voice from a microphone-transmitter to a listener-worn receiver. It works with the user's hearing aid to increase the signal-to-noise ratio from 5dB to 20 or 30dB so the speaker's voice will never be more than six to eight inches away from the listener's ear. This product features audio-output and audio-input capabilities designed for use with tape and video recorders. For system monitoring, there are FM and battery indicators to guide the user. POWER: Rechargeable 3-volt battery pack provides up to 20 hours of continuous operation. Disposable alkaline batteries may also be used. WEIGHT: 3 ounces.
Starsound is an infrared amplification system designed to provide hearing assistance for individuals who are hard of hearing. This system can be used in cinemas, theaters, churches, courtrooms, and convention centers. The infrared transmitter picks up the sound signal from the existing PA. The transmitter converts the PA signal into a safe, invisible infrared light that is sent to enitters aligning the room. The emitters then send the light signal to listeners wearing wireless, pocket size receivers. The receivers contain an optical lens that receives the light and converts it back to sound. OPTIONS: A choice of various headsets are available.
VOIS 160 WITH P.A.L.L.S. SOFTWARE
VOIS 160 is an electronic communication aid that generates synthesized speech. Words and phrases can be typed in and may be saved under a specific key location or as a sequence of keys.
