  1. EASY LISTENER (PE 100 SYSTEM)

(VERIFIED FEB 1994) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE.--- High quality FM amplification system intended for use in classrooms, small and larger groups, etc. Microphone is worn by teacher which transmits hi-fidelity sound to student-worn receivers. Designed to resemble a wearable cassette player; students have the choice between small, lightweight headsets and insert earphones for listening without earmolds. Teachers can select directional, omni-directional or boom microphones. Full-On gain/SSPL 90; 90/50 dB SPL input.

  3. HANDIVOICE (MODEL HC 110)

Has 128 touch sensitive display areas, each having 4 output selections. Has two operating memories, each having the ability to store up to 50 entries. Battery powered. Preprogrammed with 373 words, 45 phonemes, 26 letters, 13 morphemes, and 16 short phrases. Portable. Size: 16 3/4 inches by 7 3/8 inches by 2 3/4 inches. Weight: 6 pounds.

  4. HANDIVOICE (MODEL HC 120)

It has a 16 button keyboard, with synthetic voice output only. It has two operating memories, one stores 60 entries, the other stores 35 entries. Can be operated by either a sip and buff switch, hand switch, etc. And used with the automatic scanning of the number 0 to 9. Selections are made by a switch closure and then stored in memory. Battery powered. Preprogrammed with 893 words, 25 phonemes, 13 morphemes, 26 letters and 16 short phrases. Portable. Size: 11 3/8 inches by 7 1/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches. Weight: 5 1/2 pounds.

  5. IN THE EAR PHONIC EAR HEARING AIDS (MODELS PE 900, PE 800 & PE 600 SERIES)

    --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Complete line of individually worn hearing aids designed to fit a wide range of hearing losses (mild to profound). Dependent upon individual requirements, aids may be adjusted to vary gain, output and frequency response range. In-the-ear and canal aids are custom designed to individual prescription. Behind the ear aids feature direct signal input capability allowing them to be connected directly to external audio sounds such as TV, radio, etc. Assistive listening devices ( Personal FM, conference microphones, etc.) also available.

  6. PHONEAR (MODEL PE 850)

RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Phonear solves the problem of hearing aid and telephone incompatibility by amplifying the acoustic signal from any telephone or selected audio source (such as TV, radio, etc.) and converting it to a strong magnetic field which is then received by the hearing aid induction coil.

  7. PHONIC EAR ACOUSTIC TEST SYSTEMS (PE 2800 SERIES)

Delivery 30 days. PE 2800 Acoustic Test System components: PE 2800 Acoustic Analyzer, PE 2900 X-Y Plotter and PE 2750 Acoustic Test Chamber. PE 1800 Real Ear Measurement System optional.   11. PHONIC EAR VOIS 130

    --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Vois 130 is a portable speech output communication aid for non-speaking individuals. Vois 130 has a display board with 128 reliable "light" touch sensitive squares. Each square may be represented as a word, a picture or a symbol. Vois 130 has four preprogrammed levels, with fifth level that has 118 user programmable locations with a capacity of 4,000 entries. Words and phrases may be selected, held in memory and then spoken by the Vois 130, or each word or phrase may be spoken as it is selected. Vois 130 has a variable pitch control; touch sensitive on/off and volume controls; external speaker output jack; low battery indicator light; hermetically sealed switches; and adjustable tilt stand that can also be used as a carrying handle or note rack. A keyguard is available to facilitate accessing. Weight 3 pounds 12 ounces (1.7 kilograms). Length 16 1/2 inches, width 8 3/4 inches, height 3 1/4 inches.

RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Vois 135 is a portable communication aid with speech or voice output.Vois 135 contains one preprogrammed vocabulary level plus four separate personal programmable levels. The preprogrammed level contains 128 reliable "light touch" sensitive display areas. The personal programmable levels have a total of 472 user locations with a capacity of 5,000 entries. The four programmable levels may be used to group individual vocabulary sets (work, home, school, etc) or to hold vocabulary sets for a number of users. Personalized vocabulary may be loaded into an individual square, or multiple adjoining squares may be loaded for use with pictures or various symbol systems. Vois 135 has a variable pitch control; touch sensitive on/off and volume controls; external speaker output jack; low battery indicator light; hermetically sealed switches; and adjustable tilt stand that can also be used as a carrying handle or note rack.   13. PM AUTOMATIC SPEECH PLAYBACK RECORDER (MODEL PM 500)

Basic principle is to enable students or patients to instantly associate what they say with what they hear. Dual-track capability and instantaneous playback minimize environmental distractions and maximize auditory perceptual abilities of user. Includes recording unit, listening center, master microphone and tape cartridge. Delivery 2 weeks.

  14. PM DELAYED AUDITORY FEEDBACK - DAF (MODEL PM 505)

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 3/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Designed specifically for the control of stuttering, the mini DAF is a wearable, battery operated solid state delayed auditory feedback instrument. Can be used in the clinic as a therapy tool and outside the clinic as required in the therapy program. Delivery 2 weeks.

  15. VOIS 136

    --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- VOIS 136 is an operationally enhanced version of the VOIS 135 voice output communication aid. The user creates messages by pressing keys on the device's keyboard, and these messages can then be spoken through a built-in speech synthesizer. The user can create messages by spelling out words, or by storing vocabulary. Vocabulary can be stored in a system of levels: each key has a different definition for each level. In order to select a particular vocabulary item, the user first selects the level and then presses the correct key for that item. The user can program the VOIS 136's vocabulary, up to 12,000 custom items. A speech buffer allows the user to store messages before they are spoken. Text that is stored in the buffer can be added to, edited, or stored under a particular key. The VOIS 136 also allows the user to program larger key areas (the standard size is 3/4" square). The user can also choose from ten different voices, including male, female and child. Text from the VOIS 136 can also be transferred to a computer. Options include a keyguard, a padded carrying case, and a tape recorder for saving VOIS programming data. POWER: Rechargeable batteries. DIMENSIONS: 8.75 x 16.5 x 3.18 inches. WEIGHT: 3.6 pounds.

  16. VOIS 140.

VOIS 140 uses encoding: the user enters a three-digit number on the keyboard, and each number combination is assigned a word, phoneme, morpheme, letter, or phrase. 891 words, 45 phonemes, 13 morphemes, 26 letters, and 19 phrases are pre-programmed into VOIS 140, and an additional 99 three-number combinations can be assigned custom phrases by the user (up to 3000 custom characters total). Messages can be reviewed and edited before being used in communication. Use of phonemes in message composition allows for unlimited vocabulary phonemically spelling the words. Volume is user-adjustable. VOIS 140 comes with a keyguard. DIMENSIONS: 8.75 x 8.25 x 3.5 inches. WEIGHT: 2.75 pounds.

  17. VOIS 150

    --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- VOIS 150 is a portable encoding electronic communication aid with voice output. Nearly 1000 words, phrases, letters, and phonemes are pre-programmed; the user accesses them by entering combinations of three numbers on VOIS 150's numeric membrane keyboard. 100 custom messages of up to 3000 characters total can be created, stored, and recalled by the user. A temporary memory allows messages of 50 characters to be stored for use in normal conversation. Use of phonemes allows for unlimited vocabulary phonemically spelling the words. Volume is user-adjustable. VOIS 150 can be operated by scanning as well as direct selection. Each key on the keyboard has a light that lights during scanning. A different auditory tone can also be produced for each position (key) as it is scanned, permitting use of VOIS 150 by visually impaired people. Scanning can be done with a single switch or joystick, and scanning speed is user-adjustable. DIMENSIONS: 16.5 x 8.75 x 3.25 inches. WEIGHT: 3.75 pounds.

  18. VOISCOM
