The system comes in a kit with no tools required and fits most standard ceilings in homes. The non-slip neoprene surface on both the foot plate and top plate ensure that the posts stay in place. The Ergolift is a mobile floor lift. The control box gives the user access to the emergency stop and lowering devices, the visual and auditory low battery indicator, charge indicator as well as the same controls as the hand set. 24. SARA STEDY

    The Sara Stedy is a transfer aid or standing designed for use by individuals with balance, lower extremity, mobility or walking disabilities or spinal cord injury. This mechanical device is used to move a person short distances, such as to and from the toilet, or to assist a person to stand. From a sitting position, the user can grasp the crossbar at the top of the frame and pull up to a standing position. To use the Sara Stedy to transfer the user, the caregiver then flips down the seat, and the user sits down, places his or her feet on the footplate and rests the knees against the kneepad. Handles extend from the top front of the frame so that the caregiver can push the user to the desired destination with the user facing the caregiver. The Sara Stedy has four casters, and the rear two casters have wheel locks. The base can expands or spreads so that the Sara Stedy can be moved closer to a chair or toilet.     The Voyager Duo, models 9130009 and 9130209, is an overhead transfer lift designed for use with individuals with balance disabilities, brain injury, cognitive disabilities, lower extremity disabilities, mobility disabilities, severe physical disabilities and spinal cord injury. The Voyager Duo is a lift system for moving individuals along a high strength track system (not included) that installs into any ceiling. It can move in two or four directions, and it has a steel frame and fire retardent plastic cover. It fits a variety of slings, seats and stretchers. Features include a soft start and stop, two-speed on track, and a manual and electric emergency lowering device. It is controlled with a waterproof handset.     The Voyager Series and the Voyager Portable are overhead transfer lift systems designed for use with individuals with balance disabilities, brain injury, cognitive disabilities, lower extremity disabilities, mobility disabilities, severe physical disabilities and spinal cord injury. The Voyager Series offers permanent and semi-permanent ceiling tracks with a lift system for moving individuals. The high strength track system installs into any ceiling. Features include a soft start and stop, two-speed on track, and a manual and electric emergency lowering device. The Voyager Portable offers a lift which can be moved from track to track. Features include a soft start and stop, emergency lowering device and emergency stopping device. Both lifts offer Ergofit Slings which are designed to be installed and removed quickly without lifting the individual. POWER: The Voyager Series is battery powered and includes an integrated charging system with visual and audible low battery and charge indicator. The Voyager Portable uses a rechargeable 24-volt battery and includes an audible low-battery indicator. OPTIONS: The Voyager Series offers a return to charge timer and an Ergoscale for weighing individuals. 35. WALKER

    The Walker is a standing aid and gait trainer designed for use by individuals with balance, lower extremity, mobility, or walking disabilities or stroke. The Walker is available with a hydraulic or power lift mechanism that lifts using a U-shaped table for arm support and safety straps that support the user in the crotch. It also has a foldable spade seat that can assist in lifting. One the user, is standing, the Walker can be used as a gait trainer. It has four casters that feature a straight steering mechanism so that the user can be limited to only moving straight ahead and brakes on all casters. This unit also has adjustable handgrips. The safety straps also reduce the body weight on the legs when walking and prevent falls. The powered version is controlled with a handheld pendant controller.
