1. ALICOVER

   AliCover is a foam material designed for use as a covering for orthoses. The cover is made of AliPlast 4E (see separate entry), a closed-cell polyethylene foam. The AliPlast 4E is laminated to a durable blue knit nylon, and the cover is applied with 3M Spray 90 or another adhesive spray to attach to the splint or support. AliCover is also available with an adhesive backing. DIMENSIONS: AliCover measures 1/16 x 29 x 8 feet ($33, no. 4437) or 1/16 x 29 x 50 feet ($120, no. 4438). AliCover Self-Stick comes in sheets of 1/16 x 26 x 10 feet ($63, no. 4439).

2. ALIMED ATEX-TYPE WRIST REST (MODEL R5802)

   The Alimed Atex-Type Wrist Rest, model R5802, is a wrist support pad designed specifically for Atex keyboards. The wrist support is intended to reduce wriststrain associated with repetive motion tasks by maintaining the wrist in a neutral position while typing. The pad is made of an open-cell, viscoelastic foam that conforms to the user's wrist, and is enclosed in a cloth material. The pad is attached to an extention board with Velcro strips so that the wrist rest can hang over the desk edge in situations where work space is limited. 3. ALIMED CALCULATOR WRIST REST (MODEL R5210)

   The Alimed Calculator Wrist Rest (model S5210) is a wrist support pad for calculators and telephones designed to maintain the user's wrist in a neutral position and to reduce wrist strain associated with repetitive motion tasks. The pad is made of an open-cell, viscoelastic foam that conforms to the user's wrist, and is mounted on an angled board that supports the calculator or phone. The pad is covered in a cloth material. 4. ALIMED EXTENSION ARM (MODELS R7421, R7422, & R7423)

   The Alimed Extension Arm is a monitor arm designed to clear the desktop and keep the keyboard and monitor/terminal in easy reach for an ergonomically configured workstation. The arm rotates, extends, and retracts a swiveling monitor platform for maximum viewer comfort. A clamp mount fits desktops or tabletops up to 3 inches thick with a minimum 2-inch overhang. The platform lifts monitors up to 50 pounds to a fixed height of 6 to 8 inches above the work surface. The base clamp rotates 360 degrees, and the platform swivels up to 180 degrees. 5. ALIMED E-Z RELEASE SEAT BELT WITH ALARM

   The AliMed E-Z Release Seat Belt with Alarm is a wandering patient system designed for use by individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other cognitive disabilities who are at risk for falls in homes or hospitals. This seatbelt is equipped with a standard sensor unit (included) and a hook and loop fastening buckle that, once disengaged, alerts a caregiver or hospital staff that a person is about to wander or risks a fall. The sensor alarm can be attached to regular chairs, geri chairs, wheelchairs, patient chairs, or beds.

6. ALIMED INFLATABLE LAP BUDDY (MODEL 77338)

   The AliMed Inflatable Lap Buddy, model 77338, is a wheelchair lap board, positioning pad and wandering patient system designed to prevent wheelchair users with Alzheimer's disease or cognitive disabilities and balance or lower extremity disabilities from rising without assistance. It provides upper body support and posture assistance as well as a comfortable forearm and wrist/hand rest. The Inflatable Lap Buddy can support light activity, such as reading. 7. ALIMED KEYBOARD WRIST REST & EXTENDED KEYBOARD WRIST REST (MODELS R73144-45, R5265-R5267, R5323-24, & R5328)

   The Alimed Keyboard Wrist Rest is a wrist support pad for computer typists designed to fight wrist fatigue and reduce the strain on the tendons controlling the fingers and hands. This fabric-foam pad rests against the lower edge of the keyboard. Keyboard users rest their wrists on the padding to correct the wrist droop that occurs with unsupported typing. The support has a no-skid bottom to prevent the pad from sliding during typing. The support is available with the Extension Support, a thin sheet of plastic that fits under the keyboard and attaches with Velcro strips. The Extension Support allows the user to utilize the Wrist Rest even in a place where there is not enough space for both the Wrist Rest and the keyboard. Selection of pad heights is based on the distance from the table to the top of the space bar. 8. ALIMED LATEX WHEELCHAIR CUSHIONS

   AliMed Latex Wheelchair Cushions (models ##140, ##141, and ##142) are firm, resilient, high-density seat cushions with polyester knit covers. The cushions are made of pincore (open weave) construction for coolness, comfort, and aeration, and double knit for stretch and elasticity. The covers are zippered for easy removal. 9. ALIMED MOUSE REST (MODELS S5344 & S5345)

   The Alimed Mouse Rest is a cursor control wrist support for mouse users designed to keep the user's wrist in the desired neutral position. By maintaining the wrist in this position during extended use of a mouse or track ball, excessive pressure is reduced on the underside of the wrist, and repetitive motion conditions that can lead to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome may be minimalized. The Mouse Rest is made of an open-cell, viscoelastic, self- molding layer of foam that conforms to the user's wrist, and covered with a cloth material.     The Alimed Notebook Computer Wrist Rest, model S5361, is a wrist support pad designed to reduce wrist strain for individuals suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. It maintains a neutral position for the wrist while reducing strain associated with repetitive motion tasks. The pad is made of an open- cell viscoelastic foam that conforms to the user's wrist, and is mounted on an angled tray that supports the laptop or notebook computer, positioning it at the most comfortable angle for typing. 11. ALIMED SEAT BELT ALARM (MODEL 77667)

    The AliMed Seat Belt Alarm, model 77667, is a seat belt and wandering patient system designed for use by individuals with Alzheimer's disease or cognitive disabilities and mobility disabilities. This dual-function seat belt keeps the patient in the chair and sounds an alarm if disconnected. The system also includes a flashing light to help caregivers to locate the correct individual if the alarm sounds. The belt can be adjusted to patient size. The system includes a metal mounting clip and grommets for attaching the belt to the wheelchair frame and a bracket for mounting the alarm box on the wheelchair. 12. ALIMED SOLID SEAT INSERT

    The AliMed Solid Seat Insert is a semi-rigid, closed-cell foam seat cushion designed to correct wheelchair sling-seat sag by increasing seat flatness. This foam block has a convex bottom and a flat top. The convex portion fills the concave depression formed by the sling wheelchair seat. The flat, level surface created balances the pelvis, distributes weight evenly on both ischial tuberosities, and discourages side-to-side tilt. This seat insert is waterproof and smooth surfaced; there are no cracks or crevices to hold liquids. The insert is available uncovered, or with a no-slip cover. 13. ALIMED STANDARD MULTIBOOT (MODELS 62836, 69620, 61002, 62744, 62719, 63145, & 62206)

    The AliMed Standard MultiBoot is boot orthosis and foot protector designed for use with individuals with lower extremity disabilities. The backbone of the MultiBoot features a swing-out antirotation bar and a height-adjustable footplate to prevent bedding from pressing on the toes and feet. Locking slots are mated to the antirotation bar to prevent shifting. The foot is swaddled in a soft Kodel-type Velcro-closure sock attatched to the MultiBoot backbone to hold the foot without irritation. The heel is suspended and aerated. A Multi-Boot Abductor Bar connects a pair of boots to properly abduct the legs. The distance between mounting points is adjustable. Model 62836 includes two MultiBoots and one Abductor Bar. Model 61002 is a single MultiBoot with an outsole to permit very limited ambulation. Model 62744 is a single MultiBoot with a replacement liner and laundry bag. Model 62719 is a single MultiBoot with a replacement liner, toe plate cover, outsole, and a laundry bag. OPTIONS: MultiBoot Abductor Bar and a toe plate cover. 14. ALIMED SUPER CONSTRUCTA FOAM

    Alimed Super Constructa Foam is tough, lightweight, flexible but firm mini-cell polyethylene foam material designed for customized positioning, seating, and support systems. This waterproof foam can be used without covering or finishing, or vinyl-dipped if a tough skin is desired. The material withstands repeated compression and abuse and returns to its original shape. It can bear heavy weights for extended time periods. The foam is sold by the slab. 15. ALIMED T-STICK

    Alimed T-Stick is adhesive backed, open-cell T-Foam (Temper Foam). Temper foam contours and molds with body heat and pressure to match the individual's anatomical detail. This foam is used in treatment of hypertrophic scars and other conditions where even pressure distribution is essential. As tissue volume or shape changes, T-Stick padding remains in total contact, uniformly cushioning and supporting the person's injury. 16. ALIMED TYPEWRITER WRIST REST (MODEL R5244)

    The Alimed Typewriter Wrist Rest, model S5244, is a keyboard wrist support designed to alleviate pressure on the underside of the wrists and to maintain the wrist in a neutral position to minimalize the effects of repetitive motions that can lead to such conditions as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The support is made of an open-cell, viscoelastic foam that conforms to the user's wrists, and is covered with a cloth material. 17. ALIPLAST

    AliPlast is a cross-linked, closed-cell, heat modable, polyethylene foam material used for a variety of orthotic applications. There are five types of AliPlast that vary in firmness and stiffness. ALIPLAST 4E: For padding and cushioning splints and casts. Tensile strength of 80 to 110; density of 4 pounds per cubic foot; compressive strength at 50 percent compression is 35 to 45. ALIPLAST 6A: Effective for foot orthotics and many types of hand splints. Tensile strength of 110 to 140; density of 6 pounds per cubic foot; compressive strength (50 percent) is 50 to 70. ALIPLAST 10: For foot orthotics and many types of hand splints. Tensile strength of 294; density of 10 pounds per cubic foot; compressive strength (50 percent) is 75 to 100. ALIPLAST XPE: Tensile strength of 240; density of 12 pounds per cubic foot. DIMENSIONS: AliPlast is available in sheets of 23.5 x 29.5 inches to 30 x 36 inches with thicknesses of 1/8 to 1/2 inch; in rolls measuring 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick; and the AliPlast XPE is available in sheets of 29 x 32 inches and thicknesses of 3/16 to 9/16 inches, or 5.5 x 13 inches. 18. ANTI-DECUBITUS GEL SIT-STRAIGHT CUSHION

    The Anti-decubitus Gel Sit-Straight Cushion is a foam seat cushion designed to fight excessive pressure and pressure sores by encouraging better posture and more uniform weight distribution. The cushion is made of fire-retardant T-Foam (see separate entry), a pressure relieving, flotation-like foam material that molds and effectively increases the weight bearing area to reduce pressure, and high density foam wedge tapered on the distal edge to relieve pressure on the thighs. 19. ARTICULATING DRAWER (MODEL R7424)

    The Articulating Drawer, model R7424, is a keyboard tray designed to add valuable desk space and let the computer user position the keyboard for comfort and efficiency for individuals who have repetitive motion disorders. This non-conductive plastic drawer is housed in a steel casing which will support the central processing unit (CPU) and monitor. The tray extends 15 inches on ball bearing slides and locks in place. Once extended, the tray can be raised or lowered 5 inches. There are 7 height positions, and 4 tilt positions up to a 15 degree slant. Positive lock/release tabs are located at the sides of the drawers. The tray has a built-in molded wrist rest. In addition to a standard keyboard, this tray will also accommodate a mouse. 20. BASIC WEDGE CUSHION

    The Basic Wedge Cushion is a seat cushion made of high density foam designed to not flatten out under the user's weight. The wedge shape is intended to encourage a modified anterior pelvic tilt that results in upright sitting posture and discourages slipping forward in the chair. This cushion may be used in Geri chairs or wheelchairs. A No-Slip, water resistant cover is included. DIMENSIONS: 16 x 18 inches (no. 260), 16 x 16 inches (no. 261), or 14 x 14 inches (no. 1287). 21. BETA PILE

    Beta Pile (##4192) is splint strapping material made of plush, hook-sensitive, brushed nylon fabric used to cover splints. The material is sold in rolls. DIMENSIONS: 18 x 48 inches per roll.

22. BETA PILE II LOOP

    Beta Pile II Loop is splint strapping material made of soft polyfoam between a top and bottom of soft fabric. The strapping has hook-sensitive pile on both sides, so Velcro-type closures can be made on either side. This double-sided hook feature and the fact that cut edges will never fray or unravel allows for special strap designs. Due to the polyfoam padding, stress to soft tissue is eliminated and patient compliance may be increased due to increased comfort. This strapping is sold by the roll. 23. BETA PILE III LOOP

    Beta Pile III Loop is splint strap material, similar to Velcro loop, made of soft polyfoam padding for long term (at least 5000 closures) loop and hook fastener applications. This strapping material is sold by the roll. DIMENSIONS: 1-inch x 25 yards (##4470 and ##4481), 1.5 inches x 25 yards (##4471 and ##4482), and 2 inches x 25 yards (##4472 and ##4483). 24. CHECKERBOARD

    Checkerboard is foam material made of high density foam cut to a checker board pattern for pressure relief. Sold in sheets.

25. COCCYX RELIEF SIT-STRAIGHT

    The Coccyx Relief Sit-Straight is a foam cushion with a convex solid seat insert base and a dished coccygeal area for pressure relief. The cushion is made of a high density foam for cushioning and support with a top layer of T-Foam (see separate entry), a pressure-relieving flotation-like foam material. The cushion is covered in Alitex, a Gortex based, breathable, waterproof fabric. DIMENSIONS: 16 x 18 inches (no. 1246) or 16 x 16 inches (no. 1247).

26. COMBO T-FOAM CUSHION (MODELS 1175 & 1176)

    The Combo T-Foam Cushion is a foam seat cushion designed to provide pressure distribution, fight pressure sores, and provide superior sitting stability. The cushion is made of trilaminate construction that combines the best of T-Foam in a single cushion. The top layer of the Combo is 1-inch thick T-Foam; the middle 1-inch thick layer is medium grade for full flotation, regardless of user weight; and the base layer is made of high-density foam that will not bottom out under hot, humid conditions. T-Foam combines the body conforming pressure distribution of liquid or gel-filled cushions with the breathability of open-cell foam. T-Foam breathes to minimize heat built-up and perspiration. This material is fire retardant. The cushions are covered in breathable, waterproof, stretchable AliTex. CAPACITY: For users weighing up to 200 pounds. 27. CONSTRUCTA FOAM

    Constructa Foam is lightweight, rigid, closed-cell polyethylene based foam material designed to be simultaneously firm, supportive, and resilient. Suggested uses are customized positioning, seating, and support systems. The foam is generally covered because its surface is somewhat abrasive to the touch. DENSITY: Medium is 2, Firm is 6, X-Firm is 9, and Super Constructa is 2 pounds per cubic foot. DIMENSIONS: Constructa Foam is available in cylinders (2, 4, or 6-inch diameter x 36 inches) and slabs (1 or 2 inches x 24 x 32 or 36 inches) in Medium, Firm, or X-Firm densities. COLOR: White.

28. CRITICAL COMMUNICATOR, THE

    The Critical Communicator is a communication board designed for use by individuals with autism or cognitive, speech, or communication disabilities. Useful in medical and therapeutic settings, this communication aid is helpful for those who have difficulty communicating even basic needs on a temporary basis. Included are a pain scale, words and pictures for now (immediate attention, such as hard to breathe), pain (ache, burning, sharp), comfort (head up/down), people (husband, wife, doctor), alphabet, numbers, and days of week. 29. DROP BASE

    The Drop Base is a ABS plastic solid seat panel with cutouts for wheelchair cross braces designed to allow the mounting of custom or commercial seat cushions level with or below seat rail level. The panel fits between the seat rails, with 1- and 2-inch drop hooks to fit 7/8-inch or 1-inch rails. DIMENSIONS: Sized to fit 16 and 18 inch widths.

30. DYNAFOAM ABDUCTION WEDGE

    The Dynafoam Abduction Wedge is a knee separator designed to prevent adduction contractures by maintaining four inches of knee separation. This sculptured wedge is made of high density foam with a machine washable, terry cloth cover and Velcro straps to maintain position. 31. ECONOMY HIP / KNEE KIT

    The Economy Hip/Knee Kit includes five products designed for use by individuals with upper extremity and mobility disabilities following hip or knee replacement surgery. The kit includes a reacher, shoe horn, sock aid with cords and built-up foam handle, dressing stick and a contoured bath sponge. These devices are designed to help users avoid bending, standing or turning at the hip when bathing, dressing and performing other activities in the home. The kit comes in a plastic bag. DIMENSIONS: The kit is available with a reacher that is 26 or 32 inches long; the shoe horn and bath sponge are 18 inches long. The sock-aid is 9.5 inches long.

32. ECONOMY OVERDOOR PULLEY (MODEL 8601)

    The Economy Overdoor Pulley, model 8601, is an overhead pulley exerciser designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. Used to maintain or regain shoulder range of motion and rebuild muscle strength, the unit features two handles; the stronger arm pulls the affected arm in a gentle forward stretching motion. Sand weights (not included) can be attached to the pulleys to help build strength. OPTIONS: Holding mitts to keep the hand in position.

33. ETHAFOAM

    Ethafoam is a polyethylene foam used in the underlayment of contour in seating. Foam sheets are sold 3 per case. DIMENSIONS: 2 x 24 x 3 feet.

34. EXTENDED WIDTH ARMREST (MODEL 77382)

    The Extended Width Armrest, model 77382, is an add-on armrest designed for with lower extremity, mobility or severe physical disabilities, spinal cord injury and others who use wheelchairs, especially those who spend extended periods of time in wheelchairs. Intended to provide a wider resting surface without increasing armrest height, this armrest accommodates individuals with upper extremity edema, flaccidity, or increased tone by decreasing the risk of slippage and damage to the arm and shoulder joint. Additionally, the unit allows the arm to bear weight in a normal position without putting the arm into a static position. This unit mounts easily over existing armrests. For petite or small-framed individuals, the armrest can be configured so the extended width is inside of the armrest to provide weight-bearing upper extremity support without the user having to lean to the side. 35. FINGER EXTENSION ASSIST (TYPE 504)

    The Finger Extension Assist, Type 504, is a finger flexion splint designed to correct boutonniere deformity and to treat proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint tightness. This orthosis is similar to the Finger Extension Assist Type 501 (see separate entry) but is shorter and stronger. Size is determined by measuring the volar surface distance from metacarpal phalangeal (MP) crease to distal finger crease, and should be done by a therapist. SIZES: X-Small (##5700, AA), Small (##5701, A), Medium (##5702, B), Large (##5703, C), and X-Large (##5704, D). DIMENSIONS: From Small to X- Large, lengths range from 1.75 to 3 inches, in 1/4-inch increments.

36. FINGER EXTENSION ASSIST, TYPE 501 (##5389 - ##5393)

    The Finger Extension Assist, Type 501, is a wire and foam dynamic finger extension splint designed to lift the PIP joint from the flexed position back to the extended position. This adjustable orthosis is sized by measuring the extended finger from the distal palmar crease to the distal finger crease; see a therapist for correct fitting measurements. SIZES: X-Small (##5389, AA), Small (##5390, A), Medium (##5391, B), Large (##5392, C), and X-Large (##5393, D). 37. FLAT SCREEN MAGNIFIER

    The Flat Screen Magnifier is a computer screen magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. This screen magnifier is designed for flat screen computer monitor measuring from 14 to 17 inches diagonal. It enlarges the image up to 50 percent while also reducing glare and blocking ultra-violet (UV) rays. The screen mounts on the top of the computer monitor with hook-and-loop fasteners and brackets (included).

38. FREEDOM ACCOMMODATOR INSOLE (MODEL 6810-6817)

    The Freedom Accommodator Insole, model 6810-6817, is a shoe insert designed for use by individuals with lower extremity and foot disabilities. The soft, cushioning orthosis has a contoured heel cup to cradle and stabilize the heel and a longitudinal arch supports the arch and relieves fatigue. A mild transverse arch supports and reduces pressure from the metatarsal heads. SIZES: Based on men's and women's shoe sizes.

39. FREEDOM CTS STOP

    The Freedom CTS Stop is a wrist splint designed to stop undesirable wrist motions, ulnar deviation, and to restrict all but 10 degrees of wrist flexion and extension. The support positions the wrist in neutral.     The Full Flex Valet is an elevating platform for computer monitors designed to elevate the screen to a more comfortable eye level, and to free up valuable work space. The extension arm has a gas spring that allows for easy adjustments. The arm extends, retracts, and rotates as it holds the monitor or terminal on a tilt and swivel base in virtually any viewing position. the arm lifts the base of the monitor from 7.5 to 13.5 inches above the work surface, extends/retracts 7 inches with a maximum reach of 30 inches in any direction, and both the monitor platform and arm rotate 360 degrees.     The Ice Finger for Oral Stimulation is an oral stimulation aid designed for use by individuals with feeding or swallowing disabilities. This latex-free tube is designed to improve oral motor and oral-pharyngeal strength and sensation. The totally sealed, malleable gel core is frozen for thermal stimulation and can be refrozen so one can be used for the entire duration of therapy for an individual. For additional stimulation, it can be dipped into sour substances. The small grip at the top makes it easy to evoke mouth opening, insert for sucking, or to overcome a hypersensitive gag reflex. The footplate is set at five-degrees of dorsiflexion and the strap at the instep ensures that the foot sits in registration with the splint. Strap pads protect the leg and instep from pressure. 75. PF NIGHT SPLINT II (MODEL 60973)

    The PF Night Splint II, model 60973, is a night foot splint designed for use by individuals with lower extremity disabilities. This splint fits the right or left foot and is intended to reduce chronic morning pain from plantar fascitis by holding the foot in dorsiflexion and providing passive stretching of the plantar fascia, muscles, and the Achilles tendon. Lightweight, low-profile, and trimmed of all excess plastic, the splint has a footplate that is set at five-degrees dorsiflexion with an adjustment range from 10 degrees dorsiflexion to 10 degrees plantar flexion in 2.5-degree increments. Ankle and calf straps secure the splint. A toe dorsiflexion wedge is available and secures with Velcro. The terry liner is hand washable. SIZES: Regular and extra-large.

76. PIR ALARM (MODELS 2058 & 2059)

    The PIR Alarm, models 2058 and 2059, is a wandering patient system designed for use with individuals with Alzheimer's disease, cognitive disabilities, or memory disabilities. This system requires no pads or sensors and relies on passive infrared technology similar to that used with automatic doors and lights. The alarm emits an invisible fan-shaped beam that parallels the bedrail, monitoring the entire bedside. Selective beam management allows the unit to detect undesired motion only. The fan-shaped beam ha a range of approximately 60 degrees vertical and five degrees horizontal. The adjustable mount has neodymium magnets that secure the self-contained system to a bedrail. The transmitter-detector head swivels for precise placement of the beam. When set in the alarm position, an 85-decibel siren will sound for 30 seconds when the beam is broken.     Positioner Foam is an open-cell polyurethane ester foam material with a density of 2 pounds per cubic foot designed to be easily cut with a sharp knife to make shapes for x-ray or seating positioning.     The Profile Sitting Orthosis is a wedge foam seat cushion designed to minimize ischial tuberosity pressure. 91. QUALCARE VOICE ALARM (MODEL 2032)

    The QualCare VOICE Alarm, model 2032, is a wandering patient system designed for use by individuals with Alzheimer's disease, cognitive disabilities, or dementia. This system has a cord that can be clipped to the patient's clothing, while the alarm unit is mounted to the patient's bed or chair. When the cord is pulled from the alarm unit, a recorded message plays for 20 seconds, then an alarm tone sounds until the caregiver resets it. Caregivers can record a personal message to reassure the patient in a familiar voice that help is on the way. The alarm can be set to four tones that sound at either 85 or 95 decibels.    The Canadian Knee Orthosis is a knee orthosis designed for use by individuals with lower extremity orthopedic or neurological disabilities. Designed as a knee orthosis for active serial treatment of knee flexion contractures and designed for non-ambulatory use, this brace applies a steady extension force through the knee pad and is adjusted by simply snugging the straps.    The Dysphagia Cup is a cup with a large handle designed for use by individuals with upper extremity and swallowing disabilities. This lightweight cup features an extended handle that accommodates gripping with the entire hand or with the thumb only. The design of the cup promotes tucking the chin toward the chest which allows time for the normal swallowing mechanisms to work. The design also helps prevent liquids from escaping at the lips and directs liquids to the center of the mouth. Nose clearance enables the cup to be emptied without tilting the head back. 9. FLAT PANEL GLARE FILTER (MODELS 79830, 79831, 79832, 79833, 79834, 79835)

   The Flat Panel Glare Filter is a glare reduction filter designed for use by individuals with low vision. Mounted in front of a high-resolution flat panel monitor, this unit minimizes glare and improves contrast. It has a double-sided, multiple-layer, anti-reflective coating on optical glass that reduces up to 99 percent of glare and reflections. A privacy option (models 79833, 79834, and 79835) distorts on-screen information when viewed from an angle. The unit includes a mounting bracket. 10. FUN FOOT FLUSH

    Foot Flush is a foot-operated toilet flushing aid designed for use by individuals with mobility, upper extremity, or neurological disabilities or arthritis. This device fits most flapper-style tank toilets and does not interfere with the operation of the standard flush handle. Once installed, the device sits on the floor and enables the toilet to be flushed simply by stepping on the unit. This unit has a foot-shaped base, complete with toes.

11. HEADMASTER COLLAR

    The Home Care Pill Box is a pill organizer designed to separate pill doses for indivuals with memory disabilities and for those who are visually disabled. Each pill box consists of seven large see-through compartments with separate lids. Each compartment lid is marked with a letter indicating the day of the week, together with the Braille equivalent and a number from 1 through 7. Where multiple doses are required, boxes can be snapped together to create a single unit capable of holding several different types of medications taken at different times during the day. Different medications may be indicated by using various color lids. Lids are available in four colors. If the user is required to take medications only once a day, then only one unit is required. If more than one dosage per day is required, different colored units can be snappped together to indicate different times of day. If the daily compartment is not large enough to accommodate the full daily dosage, another unit of the same color can be snapped on to hold the extra medications . This lightweight tool has vise-like jaws that adjust to varying widths and that close by squeezing the handles and open by pulling the handles apart. This device aids in providing a firmer grip with more power for pushing, pulling, picking up, turning, squeezing, or holding. This tool can be used to turn keys; open bottles, tubes, small jars, medicine bottles (including childproof caps); pull electrical plugs; pull weeds; remove pen caps; and, turn knobs and faucets. This device also aids in opening and closing zippers or blinds, pulling on gloves or socks, squeezing toothpaste tubes or clothes pins, or handling small items such as pins, needles, paper clips, and coins. 16. PROP-IT BOOK REST

    The Prop-It Book Rest is a bookholder designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities, grasping disabilities, or arthritis. This unit holds any size printed material.
