  1. E-Z HOOK TENSION BAND APPLIER

    The E-Z Hook Tension Band Applier is a hand-held prosthesis accessory designed to allow upper extremity amputees to apply tension bands to their hooks.

  2. HOSMER BASEBALL GLOVE ATTACHMENT

    The Hosmer Baseball Glove Attachment is a terminal device for sports designed to allow a firm gripping action between the thumb and forefinger when using a baseball glove. The device has knobs on the fingers to allow the glove to be securely attached. The glove attachment is available in either right or left hand models. DIMENSIONS: Standard 1/2-20 stud; 9.5 inches long. WEIGHT: 10.5 ounces.

  3. HOSMER BOWLING ATTACHMENT

    The Hosmer Bowling Attachment is a terminal device for sports that has a neoprene expansion sleeve at the end of the device that is under constant spring compression which causes it to expand and hold a bowling ball. The same action used to operate a conventional prosthetic hook causes the device to release the bowling ball. DIMENSIONS: 4.5 inches long; has a standard 1/2-20 stud.

  4. HOSMER BUTTON HOOK

    The Hosmer Button Hook is a hand-held button aid designed to assist individuals with dressing. The hook's wire section slides through the button hole and hooks onto the button; the button is then pulled through the button hole. DIMENSIONS: Device is 6 9/16 inches long.

  5. HOSMER DRIVING RING

    The Hosmer Driving Ring is a steering wheel spinner ring for upper extremity amputees that is designed for use on automobile steering wheels, boat tillers, aircraft controls, and most bicycles. The device attaches with a clamp to the steering instrument; the side of the clamp has a rubber surface for a secure grip. The swivel ring is coated in plastic, and has a 4/5-inch inside diameter.

  6. NY ELECTRIC ELBOW

    The NY Electric Elbow is an externally powered prosthetic elbow for adults or children. This prosthesis is inter-changeable with the Hosmer E 400 and E 200 elbows. The elbow flexion/extension range is 5 to 135 degrees; lift time for 5 to 135 degrees is 4.5 seconds for 24 inch pounds, and 1.2 seconds for 0 inch pounds; the stall is 30 inch pounds; break away is 15 to 20 foot pounds. This elbow is compatible with the NY Prehension Actuator and Michigan Electric Hook. POWER: Power pack requires four AA cell batteries, mounts in forearm or humeral sections. Fully charges in 8 hours. Motor operates quietly. DIMENSIONS: Large is 7.1 centimeters diameter x 6.4 cm (large) from elbow axis to socket end; Medium is 6.0 cm diameter x 6.4 cm. WEIGHT: Medium weighs 15.5 ounces; Large is 16 ounces.

  7. QUANTUM FOOT

    The Quantum Foot is a prosthetic foot designed with a natural appearing, flexible outer shell and an energy storing inner spring module. SIZES: Available in shoe sizes 4.5 to 12, wide and narrow widths. Spring strength is matched to the wearer's weight and activity level. Fits into most shoe styles.

  8. SIL SKIN

    Sil Skin is a cosmetic cover for a prosthetic leg designed to cover the foot and leg while allowing full flexion of the knee and ankle joints. The cover resembles skin in appearance and texture, and is made of a tear and stain resistant elastic that wipes clean and does not absorb water. The silicone skin slips over a thin nylon stocking which covers cosmetic foam layer. SIZES: Available in five sizes. COLOR: Light or dark brown.

  9. SKI HAND/FISHING HAND

    The Ski Hand/Fishing Hand is a terminal device for sports made of molded silicone rubber that resembles a closed hand. The opening will hold a ski pole or a fishing pole. The rubber will remain pliable in sub-zero temperatures. DIMENSIONS: Standard 1/2-20 stud.

    The N-Abler I is a terminal device for an upper extremity prosthetic designed to enable individuals with upper extremity amputation to utilize tools and utensils. Designed for use by stronger individuals with unilateral below the elbow amputation, this device is made of anodized aircraft aluminum and fits standard wrist units. Features include 360-degree rotation, 60-degree range of motion, quick-release spring-loaded friction quick disconnect. OPTIONS: Attachable cutlery, kitchen tools, gardening tools, mechanics' tools, hunting and fishing knives, and fishing rod attachment. DIMENSIONS: 4 inches long. WEIGHT: 200.4 grams.

  2. N-ABLER II Picture of N-ABLER II

    The N-Abler II is a terminal device for an upper extremity prosthetic designed to enable individuals with upper extremity amputation to utilize tools and utensils. This device is made of anodized aircraft aluminum and fits standard wrist units. This unit can also be used with the N-Abler III Wrist/Hand Orthotic (see entry) by individuals without an amputation who have hand wealness or disabilities. Features include 360-degree rotation, 60-degree range of motion, quick-release positive locking quick disconnect. OPTIONS: Attachable cutlery, kitchen tools, eating utensils, gardening tools, sports equipment (hunting, fishing, golf, and weightlifting), pencil/pen holders, and mechanics' and carpenters' tools. DIMENSIONS: 3 inches long. WEIGHT: 116 grams. COLOR: Available in two colors.

    The N-Abler III Wrist/Hand Orthotic (W.H.O.) is a hand orthosis designed to enable individuals with upper extremity amputation or disability to utilize tools and utensils. Available in a soft model or a carbon fiber model, this device can be used with the N-Abler II (not included; see entry) by individuakls with prosthetics or by individuals without prosthetics. OPTIONS: Attachable cutlery, kitchen tools, eating utensils, gardening tools, sports equipment (hunting, fishing, golf, and weightlifting), pencil/pen holders, and mechanics' and carpentry tools.
