    The Universal Designed Ironing Board, model AL-42, is designed for use by individuals who use wheelchairs or wh iron while seated. The unit's features comfortably meet the needs of the person who prefers to stand while ironing yet they are installed to meet the accessible reach requirements for someone who is seated. This ironing center features a spring-activated, fold-down ironing board for ease in lowering the board. The 90-degree left/right swivel board has a 4-inch height adjustment along with lower upper hot iron storage compartments to accommodate people who sit or stand while ironing. Other standard features include a built-in work light, an illuminated rocker switch, a safety disconnect switch, hot iron rest, additional storage shelves, electrical cord wrap and garment bar. The unit comes standard with a flush birch door with a full-length piano hinge. An ironing board cover and pad are included. OPTIONS: Sleeveboard, trim kit, iron, appliance-matching metal door overlays, whit-finished flat door, full-length mirrored door, and maple or oak doors with raised panesl.
