ADAPTO HEARING AID
Adapto is a programmable hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. It is available in four styles: Completely-In-the-Canal (CIC), In-the-Canal (ITC), In-the-Ear (ITE), and Behind-the-Ear (BTE). The CIC, ITC, and ITE hearing instruments are custom made for the user's ears. In BTE models the hearing instrument is held in place behind the ear with a custom made earmold. In Adapto CIC, all components are housed in a small case that fits far into the ear canal. The Adapto ITC is bigger than the CIC, but also fits far into the ear canal. It allows for more open ear fittings, and is used for mild to moderate hearing loss. Because of its larger size, the Adapto ITE can accommodate larger sound amplifiers and more features, such as a telephone switch, and can be used for a wider range of hearing loss. The BTE hearing aid also provides more amplification than smaller devices. OPTIONS: Multi-programming capacity for adapting to different listening environments. Both the BTE and ITE come in a directional version enabling the user to focus on sounds coming from the front. The BTE accessories include a tamper-resistant battery drawer, DAI and WTC shoes for FM systems, and an eyeglass adaptor. COLOR: The CIC, ITC, and ITE hearing instruments are pink, tan, medium brown, or dark brown. The BTE models are beige, light brown, dark brown, light gray, dark gray, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, green, or transparent.

The system consists of an educational transmitter and a multi-channel receiver. Available teacher transmitters include the Amigo T20, which is body-worn and also serves as a programming and fitting unit through a special menu; the Amigo T21, which offers the same functions as the T20 with the addition of a built-in team teaching function; the Oticon Amigo T10, a multi-purpose transmitter that can be used inside and outside the classroom; or the Oticon Amigo T5, a body-worn transmitter that is durable and flexible. Available receivers include the R1, a multi-channel receiver that can be used with most behind-the-ear and cochlear implant hearing aids from any manufacturer via its universal Euro connector, or the R2 receiver, which offers all the functionalities of the R1, plus a manual Channel Seek functionality.
EPOQ HEARING AID
Epoq is a wireless hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. It is available in two open-fit designs with a shell that fits behind the ear and a receiver worn in the ear, and three custom in-the-ear styles: CIC (Completely In The Ear), ITC (In The Canal), and HS (Half Shell). Except for CIC models, these hearing aids have wireless ear-to-ear functionality allowing left and right hearing aids to communicate with each other to coordinate and adjust sound quality and level. As manual adjustments are made, the user's preferences are recorded, and when the same or similar acoustic environments are experienced, the hearing aid automatically adjusts to those preferences. Other features include a high frequency range (up to 10,000 Hertz), the ability to distinguish between speaking and listening (so that the sound of the user's voice is processed differently from the sound of other voices), and forward directionality to help the user tell whether sounds are coming from the front or from behind. OPTIONS: Streamer, a compact Bluetooth device for connecting to external sound sources such as cell phones, personal computers, or MP3 music players. POWER: ITC and half shell models use size 312 battery; CIC model uses size 10A battery. COLORS: Behind-the-ear shell is available in beige silver, orchid, white silver, steel silver, silver grey, ice blue, gold dust, or espresso. Streamer is available in black or white.

OTICON SUMO DM
Oticon Sumo DM is a programmable, behind the ear hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This digital hearing aid uses dynamic phase cancellation to prevent feedback related to body movements or dynamic acoustical situations, sending an out-of-phase counter signal at the same frequency. This removes the whistling without decreasing the level of gain or affecting the sound quality. To prevent whistling when the volume is turned up, the instrument sets maximum gain limits in each of its eight channels. The hearing aid's TriState Noise Management system uses VoiceFinder to distinguish between the three environmental states of noise only, voice only, and noise and voice together, and responds to them with an eight-channel, modulation-based noise reduction system.
Oticon Syncro is a programmable behind the ear or in the ear hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Its Voice Priority Processing system uses artificial intelligence to focus on speech and filter out noise. Three systems work in parallel to monitor and analyze all critical acoustic parameters and determine which combination of settings will provide the optimum Voice-over-Noise ratio: Multi-band Directionality, TriState Noise Management, and Voice Aligned Compression. Five pre-programmed Identities enable hearing care professionals to customize the key elements of the Voice Priority Processing system to match the user’s needs, without having to individually configure each feature. An identity is automatically prescribed, based on factors such as hearing loss, age, auditory lifestyle, amplification experience and listening preferences.
The Oticon TM11 is a pocket-type telecoil receiver designed for use with induction loop systems. The NOAH System is a case management program designed for use by audiologists and other hearing care professionals. Developed by a consortium of over 80 hearing care companies worldwide, this program provides a unified system for performing client-related tasks. When a professional measures a client’s hearing loss, whether with audiograms, speech tests, or loudness scaling, results are passed automatically to the common database, for use by any of several fitting systems from other suppliers. This allows the professional to try out alternative fitting systems from different suppliers when selecting and tuning a hearing instrument. The system can also be used to record journal notes regarding the client session. All information is automatically saved in the client’s record. This framework allows hearing instrument fitting, audiological measurement, and office management systems to share a common database. The program comes with modules for performing basic fitting and measurement functions. Additional fitting and measurement modules are available separately from licensed member companies. These modules allow the program to work with measurement equipment from more than 10 major suppliers and to fit hearing instruments from more than 30 different suppliers. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers or network servers.
