    Puff-N-Sip Activated Phone, model 1900 VA, is a voice activated speakerphone with sip-n-puff capability intended for use by people with mobility and upper extremity disabilities. No manipulation or operation of switches or other mechanical devices is required for complete control of this telephone. To activate the dialing mode and turn the speakerphone on, the user puffs into the mouthpiece. Sipping on the mothpiece dials "0" for a local operator. To dial "00" for a long distance operator, the user sips one more time. When the telephone rings, the user says "hello" or make any sound after the second ring and the call is automatically answered. At the end of a conversation, the telephone automatically hangs up. Other features can be accessed manually by operating buttons on the phone, including hold, flash, and last number redial functions. Twenty names can also be stored in memory controlled by the keypad. POWER: This model operates from the voltage supplied by a standard phone line. No back-up batteries are required for operation in the event of a power outage. As long as the phone line is active, the phone will operate. WARRANTY: This product has a limited one-year manufacturer's warranty.

    The Voice Activated Cordless Phone, model AP-100 VCS, is a voice activated cordless telephone with headset intended for use by people with mobility and upper extremity disabilities. No manipulation or operation of switches or other mechanical devices is required for complete control of this telephone. To activate the voice dialing mode, the user whistles a note into the headset. A state-of-the-art tone detector responds to a range of frequencies, eliminating the need to whistle a particular pitch or note in order to operate the phone. Once activated with the whistle, the functions of the phone are completely voice controlled. If whistling is impossible, an adaptive switch can be plugged into the phone. This model also uses the latest 900 Mega Hertz (MHz) technology to offer virtually noise-free operation and the greatest range possible. Up to twenty different voices can be added, or deleted from the telephone's memory to provide accurate voice recognition. When the telephone rings, the user says "hello" or make any sound after the second ring and the call is automatically answered. At the end of a conversation, the telephone automatically hangs up. A holster that can be hung on a wheelchair is included with every telphone to prevent damage by dropping. WARRANTY: This product has a limited one-year manufacturer's warranty.
