1. BLISS DRILLS (MODEL S504-III)
   Bliss Drills (S504-III) is a Blissymbol instruction program designed for using and making drills using the Blissymbol pictographic and ideographic language system. This is one of 4 programs in the MECC Bliss Training Series. The programs are generated in BASIC and permit direct transfer to Blissymbol learning programs. Bliss Drills contains four sections for using and making drills: Drill Maker, to create drills using either Blissboard or Bliss Library; Single Symbol Drill, for discrimination of symbols; Word Symbol Drill, which allows for the selection of one to three specific symbols with their associated words; and Drill Eraser, which deletes drills no longer needed. The package includes a manual and one disk. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II computers.
   
   
2. BLISS LIBRARY (MODEL S504-II)
   The Bliss Library (S504-II) is a software program that contains 1,400 Blissymbols from the Blissymbol augmentative and alternative communication system for non-verbal users. This is one of 4 programs in the MECC Bliss Training Program Series. The programs are generated in BASIC and permit direct transfer to Blissymbol learning programs. Two diskettes contain the library of 1,400 Blissymbols. A third disk accesses the library with Blisstalk, which allows the student to display a sequence of Blissymbols with or without words, and Blisstable Maker, which allows the student to transfer and store Blissymbols and words to a separate diskette. A manual is also included. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II computers.
   
   
3. BLISSBOARD (MODEL S504-I)
   The Blissboard (S504-I) is a Blissymbol communication board and program. This is one of 4 programs in the MECC Bliss Training Program Series. The programs are generated in BASIC and permit direct transfer to Blissymbol learning programs. The program contains a 500-symbol display and its diskette counterpart. Within Blissboard, Blissboard Talk displays any one of the 500 Blissymbols, with or without words, for instruction and communication. The package includes a manual and one disk. 4. BLISSYMBOL CONCEPTS (MODEL S504-IV)
   Blissymbol Concepts (S504-IV) is a Blissymbol instruction program designed to teach the concept of left/right directionality, the spatial location of objects, and the concept of pairs. This is one of 4 programs in the MECC Bliss Training Series. The programs are generated in BASIC and permit direct transfer to Blissymbol learning programs. One disk and a manual are included. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II computers.
   
   
5. BLISSYMBOL STAMPS
   Blissymbol Stamps are sheets of Bliss symbolic language pictures printed on square, peel-back, self-adhesive labels. Three stamp packages are available. BM302 are 7/8-inch square color stamps; BM303 are 7/8-inch square black and white stamps that includes a book of 1545 stamps plus sentences and phrases for interaction, and frequently requested sentences and combined symbols; BM305 ($16) are 9/16-inch square black and white stamps that include a book of 1400 stamps for the construction of personalized communication displays. The word corresponding to the symbol also appears on each stamp.
   
   
6. CORE VOCABULARY
   The Core Vocabulary, model MB301, is a set of the most commonly used Blissymbols in alphabetical order. The set contains five copies each of 207 Blissymbols. The symbols are printed on adhesive-backed material, for use with symbol boards and other communication systems. The set also includes 17 complete sentences to facilitate interactive communication. DIMENSIONS: Sheets are 8.5 x 11 inches.
   
   
7. FLASHCARD BOOKLET
   Flashcard Booklets are Blissymbol language pictures designed for visual symbol training of the Blissymbol alternative communication system. The booklets each contain 248 individual cards with symbols printed on medium weight Bristol board and listed in English alphabetical order. The booklets are available with Colour (BM308) or Black and White (BM309) pictures. Blank cards are included for adding vocabulary. DIMENSIONS: Each card is 2 5/8 inches square.
   
   
8. METRIC AND IMPERIAL BLISSYMBOL TEMPLATES
   The Metric and Imperial Blissymbol Templates (models BM321, BM322, and BM323) are patterns of Blissymbol elements designed as an aid to drawing Blissymbols more accurately. They may be helpful in making worksheets, display materials, and in adding symbols to the student's display. DIMENSIONS: The Large Metric Template is 21 mm square ($17, BM321); the Small Metric Template is 11 mm square ($17, BM322); and the Imperial Template is 1 inch square ($12, BM323).
   
   
9. PIC MAN
   PIC Man is a Logo-based drawing program activated by a single switch. Commands are displayed vertically or horizontally on the screen in Blissymbols and controlled by scanning. Programs may range from simple one choice selection to multiple choice selection. A switch interface and a single switch are required to operate PIC Man. Commands may be spoken via a Votrax or Intex Talker speech synthesizer (optional; extra). COMPATIBILITY: For use with Apple II computers.
   
   
10. SINGLE-INPUT CONTROL ASSESSMENT SOFTWARE
    Single-Input Control Assessment Software is a program designed to evaluate an individual to determine the correct single switch for that individual. Single-Input Control Assessment collects information on movement, site, interface, and position. All performance and assessment data may be stored on disk. A switch interface and several single switches are required for Single-Input Control Assessment. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II computers.
    
    
11. TALKING BLISSAPPLE (MODEL S502)
    Talking BlissApple (S502) is a symbolic communicator program designed to allow users to write with Blissymbols and have their message spoken and printed, as well as displayed on screen. The program contains 1,400 Blissymbols, a manual, and 1 disk. Symbols can be recoded to construct customized user vocabularies. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II computers with 48K memory.
    
    
12. TO PAIR (MODEL S507)
    To Pair (S507) is an academic tutorial program game designed for students making the transition from Blissymbols to print. The Blissymbol is an augmentative and alternative communication system for non-verbal individuals. Using pictographic and ideographic symbols, the system is used for representing grammatical concepts as well as vocabulary items. With To Pair, lessons are created by the instructor and saved to a disk. The game may also be used to drill just Blissymbols or for letter/number matching training. The package comes with a manual, 4 disks, and a library of Blissymbols for use in the lessons and games. Auditory and visual reinforcement is given when the user selects a correct match. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II+, Apple IIc or Apple IIgs computers with 64K memory.
