  1. EXPERT MOUSE

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 11/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Expert Mouse is a cursor control interface that consists of a track ball surrounded by a small box housing. The user moves the track ball manually to emulate mouse functions. Two click buttons are provided on the housing on either side of the track ball so that the product may be optimally used by left- and right-handed users. Expert Mouse requires less hand movement than a regular mouse, and the track ball requires minimal finger movement. Two versions are available: A Bus version ($179.95), which comes with a serial card, and a Serial and PS/2 version ($149.95). COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM PS/2 and IBM PC computers. DIMENSIONS: Housing is 4.5 x 5.5 x 2.75 inches; the track ball itself is 2.25 inches. WEIGHT: Bus version is 2.31 pounds, Serial/PS/2 version is 1 pound.

  2. ORBIT 3D (MODEL 64232)

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 11/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Orbit 3D, model 64232, is a track ball with tactile output designed for use by individuals with low vision. This track ball provides tactile feedback that enables users to feel web links, icons, and actions when navigating web sites. The sensation can be personalized. The track ball is connected to the personal computer through a high speed USB connection. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98, Me or 2000; available USB port or powered USB hub; CD-ROM drive. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): Trackball is 1.75 x 5.6 x 4 inches and the cord is 72 inches long. WARRANTY: Five year replacement warranty.

  3. TURBO MOUSE 4.0

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 11/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Turbo Mouse 4.0 is cursor control interface hardware and software for Macintosh computers that requires less hand movement than a regular mouse, and the track ball requires minimal finger movement. HARDWARE: The track ball, or Apple Destop Bus (ADB), has a housing with two click buttons on either side and two ADB ports for chaining other ADB devices. The track ball is large, enabling better control and smoother movement. The click buttons are situated symmetrically to accommodate left and right handed users. SOFTWARE: Turbo Mouse 4.0 Software has significant features as well a the hardware. The Brilliant Cursor is a command that allows the user to automatically jump to predefined HotSpots on the screen. Slow Cursor offers a way to temporarily move the cursor slowly and more precisely on screen. There are 10 standard acceleration options, or acceleration can be customized by the user. Enhanced Mouse Button commands allow the user to assign one of seven programmable button commands to each of the Turbo Mouse button functions. The software also permits the creation of different command combinations for different applications. The software includes it own on-screen help and is fully System 7.0 compatible. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh computers with at least one ADB port, or Macintosh PowerBook computers. This system will not work with Macintosh 128K, 512K, 512K enhanced, or the Macintosh Plus. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: System 6.05 or greater. System 6.07 or later is recommended, including System 7.0. DIMENSIONS: track ball and housing are 4.5 x 5.8 x 1.8 inches. WEIGHT: 1 pound.
