  1. COGREHAB - XP: COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR COGNITIVE REHABILITATION

    COGREHAB – XP: Computer Programs for Cognitive Rehabilitation are cognitive rehabilitation programs to aid therapists and others involved in rehabilitation to evaluate cognitive function and provide training in associated cognitive and information processing problems. The series includes a collection of programs which address various cognitive functions impaired by brain injury from head trauma, stroke, brain tumor surgery, anoxia, and brain infections. The cognitive domains include: Memory, Attention, Visual Information Processing, Language, and Motor Function. The Attention domain covers Basic Attention, Complex Attention, and Milestones of Coma Emergence. The Vision domain includes Central Visual Fields, Peripheral Visual Field, and Visual Perception. Motor Sequences are covered in the Motor domain. The Memory domain includes Short Term Memory, Long Term Memory, and Memory Retrieval. Each program includes the COGREHAB Shell which allows the user to enter data about their client. The user can also pre-set the parameters with prescribed settings. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows XP or higher operating system; Windows 7 must be the professional version.

  2. RANDT MEMORY TEST

    The Randt Memory Test evaluates mild to moderate memory loss in a variety of neurologically involved populations, including the elderly. The test consists of modules which evaluate primary, rote, associative, discourse, and incidental memory functions. A picture recognition and recall paradigm and general information section are also part of the test. The test takes 20-25 minutes to administer, plus an optional 5-minute follow-up 24 hours later by telephone or in person. The Randt test must be administered by a human examiner and is not computerized ($75). There is an optional computer program which trains the examiner in administering and scoring the test ($40). The computer program also can be used to save patient test score data as a file which can be accessed at any time. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II+ and Apple IIe computers.
