  1. IN-GROUND POOL LIFTS (MODELS IG14, IG21, & IG28)

--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 06/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Aquatic Access In-Ground Pool Lifts are water-powered pool lifts to help individuals that use wheelchairs or have other disabilities that would make it difficult for them to get in and out of a pool by conventional means (stairs or hopping in and out). These lifts can be installed into a single socket in the deck wherever it is suitable for wheelchair access, and can be self- operated or operated by an assistant. Since the unit is completely out of the water except when in use, there is no hazardous structure over-hanging the pool edge, no special pool covers are needed, there is no need to remove the lift for swim events, and the possibility of chemical erosion is eliminated. SELF-TURN ACCESSORY: This option allows users the ability to independently rotate the seat and operate the upper and lower controls that regulate the up and down motion of the IG14 and IG21 models. OPERATION: A 24-inch stainless steel ratchet handle allows the user to manually push/pull the seat from over the deck to over the water - turns 180 degrees over the deck. Pushing down on the lever causes the cylinder to descend, and pushing a black knob at the bottom of the cylinder will activate ascent of the chair. VERTICAL TRAVEL: The seat will travel a maximum of 42 inches up or down. INSTALLATION and REMOVAL: Installation requires drilling a hole in the deck and bolting the base of the handle assembly. Can be installed into a single socket or additional sockets so that one lift will serve multiple locations. No special tools required to insert or remove the lift unit. Upper and lower controls come mounted on the cylinder. POWER: All lifts use water pressure from a garden hose or a plumbed-in line to provide the lifting power. No electricity is required. Less than two gallons of water is used for each cycle. CAPACITY: Lift capacity is 300 pounds. DIMENSIONS: 70 inches tall. WEIGHT: 55 pounds without seat assembly. WARRANTY: Products warranted to be free of mechanical defects for one year from purchase date.

  2. SPA LIFTS (MODELS SLI & SLE)

--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 06/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Aquatic Access Spa Lifts, models SLI and SLE, are water powered lifts that can be used to transport individuals who use wheelchairs or who have other disabilities that would prevent them from climbing in and out of spas and hot tubs. These lifts can be used for spas that are 29 to 36 inches deep. The seat of The Spa Lift travels 24 inches up, over the side of the spa, and down into the water. The seat can be rotated a full 180 degrees. Arms are not included on these lifts, but can be ordered at an additional charge. INSTALLATION: The lifts can be mounted inside a cabinet corner with a flat are and an access door (Model SLI); or mounted outside the spa anchored to the floor (Model SLE). The Model SLE lift can also be used for free-standing institutional tubs. A flip- out lever attached to the seat tube allows the seat to be stopped at a higher position outside the spa or tub, and provides a lock for stable transfer. CAPACITY: Maximum lifting capacity is 250 pounds. WARRANTY: Products warranted to be free of mechanical defects for one year from purchase date.
