    The AllTalk is a computer direct selection and keyboard communicator designed for use by individuals with communication or speech disabilities. The adapted and pre-programmed laptop computer comes with a 2.26 gigaHertz (GHz) Intel Core 2 Duo (P7550) or 2.4 gigaHertz (GHz) Intel Core 2 Duo (P8600) processor, 2 gigabytes (GB) of RAM, 13.3-inch LED backlit glossy widescreen LCD display, and Lingraphica software which includes pre-loaded communication phrases, videos tutorials, and a selection of therapy exercises. The user can personalize the device by creating customized pages, adding new words and videos, and creating icons using the built-in still and video cameras. The user practices phonemes, commonly used phrases, and automatic speech by following along with videos of these sounds and words. The therapy exercises focus on grammar, math, reading, and memory. Videos of standard oral motor exercises illustrate cheek, tongue, soft palate, lip, and jaw movements that help strengthen the oral musculature. When the user types in words or phrases, the software will say them aloud. The software also suggests corrections for words that are misspelled. A built-in patient evaluation tool can be used by therapists to assess the user's abilities and communication needs.
