    The Centrum Sound CM-3 Conference Microphone is a conference microphone designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing in meetings and small conferences. This microphone has been designed to enhance the pickup range for a variety of personal assistive listening devices. The effective pickup range can be expanded substantially by daisy chaining two or more CM-3 conference microphones together with V-cords, Y-splitters and extension cords. A microphone mixer (not included) is recommended when daisy chaining of more than four microphones.

  1. DIRECT EAR Picture of DIRECT EAR

    Direct Ear is a personal amplification system designed for home or public use in specially equipped facilities such as theaters or places of worship by individuals with hearing disabilities. The system includes a lightweight wireless audio headset, a transmitter/charger, audio feed cable, a power cable, an output jack for hearing aids, an RCA adapter, and an owner's manual. The system "links" directly to a television or other entertainment source or a sound system by means of infrared signals. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Infrared wave length 950 nm; modulation, FM; carrier frequency, 95 kHz; output jack, 2.5 mm micro jack; frequency response, 30 - 18,000 Hz; distortion, typ. 1%; S/N ratio, typ. 65 65 dB(A). POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery; two batteries and a charger are included . Battery operation time/per charge is approximately 10 hours. OPTIONS: Headsets and receivers are sold separately with or without the output jack. WEIGHT: The headset weighs 1.4 ounces and the battery charger weighs 5.7 ounces. WARRANTY: One year.

  2. PERSONAL PA VALUE PACK WIDE BAND (MODEL PPA VPE)

    The Personal PA Value Pack Wide Band, model PPA VPE, is a large area FM amplification system designed to make public facilities and events accessible to individuals who are hard of hearing. This wide-band FM system includes a compact transmitter with a "rubber duckie" antenna, four personal receivers with earphones, audio cable, wall placque, and an instruction manual. The transmitter transmits on channel E at 72.9 MegaHertz (MHz), standard frequency. POWER: The receivers are battery operated; the batteries are included.

  3. STARSOUND Picture of STARSOUND

    Starsound is an infrared amplification system designed to provide hearing assistance for individuals who are hard of hearing. This system can be used in cinemas, theaters, churches, courtrooms, and convention centers. The infrared transmitter picks up the sound signal from the existing PA. The transmitter converts the PA signal into a safe, invisible infrared light that is sent to enitters aligning the room. The emitters then send the light signal to listeners wearing wireless, pocket size receivers. The receivers contain an optical lens that receives the light and converts it back to sound. OPTIONS: A choice of various headsets are available.
