1. DIRECT MOUNT CLAMP (MODEL 247-DM100)

   The Direct Mount Clamp, model 247-DM100, is lapboard mounting hardware designed specifically for attaching the MYDESC desktop lapboards (see separate entries) to wheelchairs without armrests or without removable armrests. This metal clamp block has a tightening knob for use with tube framing from 0.75 to 1.25 inches in diameter. The device can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, and also features an 0.83-inch cylinder slot to mount the lapboard, or umbrellas, directly onto the wheelchair frame.

2. MYDESC ARM - STANDARD AND REMOVABLE MODELS

   The MYDESC Arm is an add-on armrest wheelchair accessory designed to enhance the versatility of the MYDESC Custom Desktops (see separate entries) or to be used alone. This accessory allows the MYDESC units to be mounted on the side of armchairs and wheelchairs. This steel arm is padded with foam and available in two configurations: Standard and Removable. The MYDESC Standard Arm (model 347-S501) is designed to be a fixed accessory and attaches directly to wheelchairs and other furniture using steel ring clamps. Since the clamps are adjustable, the Standard Arm can adapt to a wide variety of seating systems. A screw driver only is required to mount or remove the arm. The MYDESC EZ-Removable Arm (model 347-R502, $159.95) is a J-shaped arm accessory with adjustable cylinder posts which mount into the slots of some removable wheelchair arms. This arm can therefore replace existing arms. For wheelchairs without the appropriate cylinder slots, this model may be attached using the Universal Arm Mount by MYDESC (see separate entry). COMPONENTS: Both arms are constructed of 1.25-inch steel tubing powder coated with black epoxy. 3. MYDESC CUSTOM DESKTOPS

   The MYDESC Custom Desktops are adjustable lapboards ergonomically designed to provide a hard writing or reading surface to wheelchair users and other individuals who work away from a desk or table and to alleviate the eye strain and neck pains associated with lap work. These portable units enable the user to swivel, tilt, or pivot the desk surfaces through an infinite number of positions in order to achieve the most comfortable desk surface accessibility possible. ADJUSTABILITY: These Custom Desktop models feature seven independent adjustments including a swiveling base which adapts to right and left handed users; a tilting motion with infinite angle positions; linear height adjustment with 2 inches of vertical motion; a swing-away motion to allow easy access; a pivoting motion for unlimited 360-degree horizontal rotation; linear horizontal motion providing for 3 inches of back and forward desktop adjustment; and a tuck away folding feature for easy transport and storage. MODELS: The Custom Desktops come with either a 16- or 18-inch wide rectangular base which can be adapted to wheelchairs with 16- or 18-inch widths as well as sofas, beds, or floor use. Both of these models (350-1600 and 350-1800, $319.95 each) include a foam filler cushion, support brace, non-skid desk pad, and tapered knob for floor usage. The MYDESC Custom Desktop with MYDESC EZ-Removable Arm (model 350-R502, $389.95) includes a J-shaped armrest with adjustable cylinder posts which allow the unit to mount into the slots of some removable wheelchair arms. This model can therefore replace the existing wheelchair arms during desktop use. For wheelchairs without arms, this model may provide the added support of an armrest when writing. The MYDESC Direct Mount model (350-DM500, $249.95) is designed for direct attachment to the frame or armrests of a wheelchair by means of a clamp. The direct mount clamp will mount on tubing from .75 to 1.25 inches in diameter, and can be installed vertically or horizontally. The MYDESC Extension accessory may be used for lower frame mounting. The MYDESC 90-Degree Direct Mount Model with Elbow Assembly (350-DM900, $289.95) is the same as the Direct Mount model with a 90-degree, L-shaped extension unit which provides extra desktop height and distance from the user. COMPONENTS: The main frame is constructed of heavy duty steel tubing and coated with urethane-polyester and a black textured finish. The desktop is made of a clear, smokey acrylic, and has a stopper bar to keep pencils and papers from sliding off. DIMENSIONS: Base frame is 17.75 x 18 inches; height to leveled desktop is 14.5 inches; and the desktop surface is 12.25 x 17.5 inches. When folded, the unit measures 22 x 30 x 6.5 inches. WEIGHT: Approximately 13 pounds (without attachments).

4. MYDESC DIRECT MOUNT MODELS (MODELS DM500 & DM900)

   The MYDESC Direct Mount Model 350-DM500, and the 90 Degree Direct Mount Model with Elbow Assembly 350-DM900, are mounting hardware for the MYDESC lapboards to clamp onto a wheelchair's frame or armrest. They include clamps and an adjustable MYDESC lapboards. The clamps will accommodate tubing from 3/4 to 1.25 inches in diameter, and both can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Model 350-DM900 provides more height and distance from the wheelchair user's body.

5. MYDESC FLIP TOP STORAGE DESK (MODEL 250-31)

   The MYDESC FlipTop Storage Desk, model 250-31, is a lapboard designed for use by wheelchair users. This laptop desk is suitable for an artists or students who needs a place to put their supplies. It has a tilting work surface that lifts to reveal a storage compartment. Because both sides of the work surface are supported by a ball-joint, the surface can be tilted or shifted from right to left, and one side swings away for transfers. An Air Spring Lifter helps to ease lifting and lowering of the flip-top. OPTIONS: Standard mounting brackets (247-DMB90), which attach to a vertical or horizontal frame with a round or square tube from 0.75 to 1.25 inches in diameter; versatile angular adjustable mounting brackets (247-AMB90), which attach to a curved or diagonal tube frame from 0.75 to 1.5 inches in diameter. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 11 x 1.68 x 17 inch storage compartment; 22 x 15 inch work surface.

6. MYDESC SCOOTER MODEL, THE (MODEL 5000)

   The MYDESC Scooter Model, model 5000, is a swing away lapboard designed for use with scooters. This lapboard attaches to the bottom of the scooter seat on a curved post that fits between the seat and the controls. The work surface features tilt-, height-, and swing-away adjustments. The unit features a transparent acrylic work surface, powder-coated steel tubing, and aluminum brackets that support up to nine pounds. The unit rotates and rises with the seat and it can independently swing out of the way for transfers. It can also be removed when needed by unscrewing the tightening knob and sliding the unit out of the bracket which remains under the seat. All necessary hardware for mounting and an Allen wrench are included with the unit. OPTIONS: Standard or versatile mounting block. DIMENSIONS: The desktop is 9.5 x 12 inches. WEIGHT: 10 pounds. 7. MYDESC TILT-TOP DESKS

   The MYDESC Tilt-top Desks are lapboards designed to provide an adjustable hard writing or reading surface for persons who work away from a desk or table, or for wheelchair users. These portable desks are ergonomically designed to accommodate the user's needs by swiveling, tilting, and pivoting through an infinite number of positions. When use of the desk surface is completed, the desktop swings away from the user's body with a single wrist motion. There are four different tilt-top models available, and five different custom desktop models (see separate entries). Models 350-1016 and 350-1018 ($159.95) feature 16-inch and 18-inch wide rectangular bases, respectively, and can be used with wheelchairs with 16- or 18-inch widths, sofas, beds, or the floor. Both of these models include a support brace and tapered knob for floor usage. The MYDESC Tilt-top Desk with MYDESC EZ-Removable Arm (model 350-1002, $229.95) is designed specifically for attachment to wheelchairs and features a J-shaped arm-rest with adjustable cylinder posts. The posts allow the unit to mount into the slots of some removable wheelchair arms, and therefore can replace the existing wheelchair arm during use. This model may also be used on wheelchairs without armrests for persons preferring the added support of an armrest when writing. The MYDESC Tilt-top Desk with 90-degree Direct Mount Bracket (model 350-1090, $198.95) comes with a bracket for direct mounting on a wheelchair frame or other furniture. This metal bracket provides a 1- inch diameter cylinder slot which secures the desktop in place. The bracket mounts on wheelchair tubing from 0.75 to 1.25 inches in diameter, and can be installed vertically or horizontally. COMPONENTS: The main frame is constructed of heavy duty steel tubing and coated with a durable urethane- polyester with black textured finish. The desktop surface is a clear, smokey acrylic with a stopper bar to keep pencils and papers from sliding off. 8. UNIVERSAL ARM MOUNT (MODEL 347-UA503)

   The Universal Arm Mount, model 347-UA503, is a mounting clamp for wheelchair accessories designed specifically for attachment of the MYDESC EZ-Removable Arm (see separate entry). This metal clamp block can be used with wheelchair tubing from 0.75 to 1.25 inches in diameter, and provides a 0.78 inch cylinder slot for mounting the EZ-Removable Arm directly to the wheelchair frame. The clamp may be mounted either horizontally or vertically.
