    The Gentleman Automatic Swing Door Operator is a powered door operator kit designed to convert side-hinged doors to automatic doors. The converter allows manual use of the door by those not requiring the automatic opener. Each kit includes a latch release which allows a locked door to be opened via remote control while remaining locked when closed. An emergency exit feature also allows the door to be opened in the event of a power outage. Standard Kit components include an opening cylinder, door closer, pneumatic latch release, X-10 controls, solenoid valve with emergency exit feature, tubing, fittings and hardware. Door opening pressure is adjustable, and the unit allows the door to be held open for extended periods. POWER: Power is provided by compressed gas from a small tank-mounted compressor or from a portable carbon dioxide tank. OPTIONS: Assist Cylinder for exterior doors with magnetic weather stripping. WEIGHT: The carbon dioxide tank weighs 5 pounds. The total shipping weight of the unit is 8 pounds. WARRANTY: The manufacturer offers a 90-day unconditional guarantee and a one-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship.

    The Double Acting Swing Door Operator is a powered door operator designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. Designed for use in residential settings, this operator is mounted to the push side of the door and both sides of the cylinder are pressurized during the entire cycle. Upon activation, the opening side of the cylinder is under higher pressure, allowing the door to unlatch and open. During the closing process, the higher pressure is on the closing side, allowing the door to close and latch. The latching force at the end of of the closing cycle compresses weather stripping. The standard operation of the door is not disrupted by the presence of the unit. The standard kit includes Standard Kit Components: Operating Cylinder, X-10 controls, control box with emergency exit feature, latch release for interior type latch, tubing, fittings and hardware. OPTIONS: Assist cylinder for exterior doors with magnetic weather stripping.

    The Gentleman Public Access Door Operator is a powered door operator designed for use in public settings to provide access for people with mobility, lower extremity, upper extremity, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This operator can be totally pneumatic in operation or interfaced with low voltage electronics for total public access. It can also be used with remote controls. If interfaced with a standard Palm Button system (see entry), the only electricity required is to operate the compressor. The standard kit includes the Commercial Operator with built-in closure and mounting hardware with tubing to run to air compressor, access stickers for doors, and a floor-mount door stop. OPTIONS: Circular Palm Button with pneumatic time; standard Palm Button with a choice of pneumatic or hard-wired timer; wireless Palm Button with electronic timer; custom sequencing for double doors; additional Palm Buttons; and a restricted access, remote-controlled system (remote control and receiver sold separately). DIMENSIONS: The circular Palm Button is 2 inches in diameter; the other Palm buttons are 4 inches.

    The Gentleman Sliding Door/Pocket Door/Window Operator is a powered door and window operator designed for use in residential settings by people with upper extremity, mobility, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injuries. This system can be used with sliding doors, double hung windows, sliding windows, and pocket doors, and it maintains normal operation, including the conventional lock, without requiring that anything be disconnected. In some cases a remote controlled locking device can be incorporated at an additional cost. Standard Kit components include a linear Actuator, X-10 controls, control box with emergency exit feature, tubing, fittings, and hardware. OPTIONS: Large actuator for four-foot openings on large sliding doors and a remote lock and controls.

    The Llave is a hands free faucet designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This faucet can be retrofitted to any sink or tub in the location most convenient for the user, including the face of a cabinet, the top front of the counter, or on a side wall. The system has two toggles, one for hot water and one for cold water, and when both toggles are on, lukewarm water is delivered. The maximum hot water temperature can be preset. Standard Kit components include control valves, two toggle switches, and tubing. POWER: Uses existing water pressure. INSTALLATION: Requires only basic household tools. OPTIONS: Push-button controls. WARRANTY: 90-day unconditional guarantee and a one-year parts guarantee.
