  1. AMERITECH ADA MESSAGING SYSTEM

--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 04/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Ameritech ADA Messaging System is an audio and visual messaging system designed to provide effective communication for individuals who have vision or hearing disabilities. This sign is ideal in that it meets with ADA standards by displaying information on LED signs or TV monitors while providing an associated audio track to be heard over a public announcement or other sound system. Multiple input sensors can trigger the playback of certain messages. Additionally, messages can be scheduled for playback during specified times and dates. This system can also be networked so as to remotely distribute messaging information. Applications include train stations, platforms, stadiums, workshops, schools, nursing homes, museums, airports, kiosks, and service/call centers. COMPATIBILITY: This system is PC based. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Requires one Master machine to author messages on and multiple Player machines for displaying the messages. Hardware and software can be custom configured to meet specific needs.
