    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 03/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Derefil is an odor control tablet designed to provide bowel-odor control for incontinence for use at institutions or home. It is a clinically proven internal deodorant for the control of bowel odor problems associated with colostomy or ileostomy. It controls bowel odor by deodorizing internally with a water-soluble derivative of natural chlorophyl, the green substance of plants and vegetables. The active ingredient is chlorophyllin copper complex (each tablet contains 100 mg) which is both safe and effective for these uses. The tablet is versatile in that it can be taken orally or put directly into the ostomy appliance. SIZES: Available in bottles of 30, 100 or 1000. Also available in a 40 tablet blister pack.
