  1. AMERIVAN Picture of AMERIVAN

    Amerivan is a public transport van designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This lowered-floor minivan includes quick-release removable front passenger seating, an optional fold-down middle seat, and enhanced rear seat capacity; a manual fold-out ramp with swing-out gate; non-slip vinyl flooring; and a Q'Straint tie-down belt system (see entries) with two floor tracks for anchoring the belts. The lowered floor is stainless steel, with stainless steel air conditioning, heating, and braking lines. WARRANTY: 3-year, 36,000 mile warranty; extended warranty available.

  2. ENTERVAN Picture of ENTERVAN

    Entervan is a wheelchair accessible Chrysler minivan with remote control automatic operation of door, folding ramp, and kneeling functions. The van's seating arrangement includes a quick-disconnect driver and front passenger seat as well as a rear-mounted bench seat. There are three securement positions, and a wheelchair and occupant belt system.

  3. KNEELVAN Picture of KNEELVAN

    Kneelvan is a mini van with ramp designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This van is a conversion of the Dodge Grand Caravan, Ford Windstar, or Chrysler Town & Country minivan, featuring a rear opening ramp and standard hydraulic kneel-down. Available interior configurations include: two bucket seats in the middle row on either side of the wheelchair, with a two-person fold-down bench that folds up when not needed in the back row; remounting the original factory rear bench in the middle row and placing the wheelchair in the back row; or placing a powered transfer seat in the middle row to allow the wheelchair user to transfer to the driver's seat. The van is available in a version with a standard wheelbase that carries one wheelchair, or a long wheelbase version that can carry two wheelchairs, depending on wheelchair size. The van comes with four point wheelchair restraints. Carpeting is standard and commercial-grade non-slip flooring is available. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): Interior is 56 (Chrysler) or 57.5 (Ford Windstar) x 91 (Dodge with long wheelbase) or 76 (Dodge or Ford with standard wheelbase) x 31 inches. Entrance height is 53.5 inches (Standard) or 56 inches (ADA/Commercial).

  4. SCALACHAIR X1 & SCALAPORT X6

    The Scalachair X1 is an accessory to the Scalamobil powered stair transport for a wheelchair (see separate entry) designed for especially narrow stair cases. This chair fits into the Scalamobil in place of the user's wheelchair. For ease of transferring, the arms rotate for lateral entry. The chair has small casters and a footrest. It may also be used for airplane access. The Scalaport X6 is designed for use in public places such as museums, city halls, businesses and retialers because of its capability to hold almost any wheelchair without the need for custom fittings and clamps.

  5. SCALAMOBIL

    The Scalamobil Wheelchair Stairclimbing System is a powered stair transport for wheelchair designed to transport wheelchair users up and down staircases. The unit is compatible with almost all manual wheelchairs. To connect the unit, the wheelchair is backed into the adapter's wheelguards and secured with a clamping system. A padded headreast assures the passenger's comfort. The unit may be used on virtually any completely dry staircases, cinluding those that are carpeted, made of wood, marble, plastic, metal, etc. The unit will fit on curving staircases or narrow steps (as narrow as 4.5 inches deep), depending on the wheelchair size. The unit can even climb staircases with steps up to 8 inches high. Safety features include fully automatic mechanical security brakes on all wheels and a variable speed control to let the operator set the pace from 7 to 17 steps per minute. Other features include an automatic shutoff to enhance battery life, and an indicator light to give battery status information. POWER: The unit operates on a 12-volt system with vaporproof batteries included. DIMENSIONS: 13.75 x 25.5 x 11.5 inches. WEIGHT: 55 pounds.

    The Starcraft Chevrolet Venture Lowered Floor Mini Van is a mini van conversion with ramp designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. In this wheelchair-accessible van conversion, the original factory floor is replaced with a floor that is 13 inches lower. The lowered floor is flat and unobstructed from the rear sofa to the front seat positions. The curbside entry door is modified to accommodate a fold-away ramp, which folds up and swings out of the way when not in use. The driver's door sill is also lowered. Wheelchair securement tracks are included in the driver's and left middle seating positions. Other standard features include 24/7 OnStar assistance; remote control operation of the door and ramp; and removable front seats. OPTIONS: Power ramp and suspension kneeling system to reduce entry height to six inches. DIMENSIONS: The curbside doorway is 56 inches high; the fold-away ramp is 30 inches wide.

  7. VISION Picture of VISION

    Vision is a van conversion designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This rear-entry, lowered floor modification is available on Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors minivans. Conversion options include fully automatic entry and seating for four ambulatory passengers plus one wheelchair user, as well as all standard factory options. WARRANTY: Three years or 36,000 miles.
