  1. BIG BEND CLIP Picture of BIG BEND CLIP

    The Big Bend Clip is a bookholder, document holder, or switch mounting hardware designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This device consists of an adjustable clamp base with an expandable gooseneck-style flexible arm attached to a large alligator clip. This unit can be clamped to the Convert-Able Table (see separate entry), a wheelchair tray, or other flat surface to hold books, toys, photographs, switches, and other items. Using two clips enables larger, heavier items to be supported. Adding additional optional segments to the flexible arm legthens the clip and increases positioning options. OPTIONS: Additional segments for the flexible neck, magnifier attatchments, and lighting attachments.

  2. CONVERT-ABLE TABLE Picture of CONVERT-ABLE TABLE

    The Convert-Able Table is a height-adjustable tilt top work table designed for use by children and adults with mobility disabilities. This table features interchangeable snap-on table tops that allow it to be used for a variety of activities, such as reading and writing, art, and sensory stimulation. The height adjusts to enable a child in a floor sitter or an adult in a wheelchair or stander to use the table. Features include a powder-coated steel frame, four-dual locking casters, push-button height adjustment with a pneumatic cylinder assist, and table top angle adjustment from zero to 90 degrees using a single lever. OPTIONS: Six interchangeable tops are available, including an acrylic sensory stimulation bowl, a standard desktop, a large desktop, and an art easel. An accessory storage bin is also available. DIMENSIONS: The frame is 29 x 30 inches with an inside width of 26 inches. The table height adjusts from 21 to 37 inches. The table tops are 27 x 31 inches. The wheels are 3 inches in diameter. WEIGHT: 45 pounds.

    The Height Adjustable Wedge is a positioning wedge designed to provide elevating positioning at a range of heights for children with physical disabilities. The sling design keeps the child in mid-line position and the adjustable hip belt provides support to keep the pelvis in a neutral position. A removable abductor is also included. The wedge consists of a tubular steel frame equipped with a repositionable height adjustment bar and urethane cushioning with woven vinyl covering. DIMENSIONS: Height adjusts from four to twelve inches in two-inch increments.

    The High-Low Chair is a positioning chair designed for use by children up to 45 inches tall with mobility or neurological disabilities. A pneumatic cylinder allows the chair height to be adjusted with a single lever or the seat and frome can be detached from the wheeled star-shaped pedestal base for use as a floor sitter. The colorful support seat is padded and covered in wipe-clean polymer-coated fabric. To hold the child comfortably in mid-line, the chair is equipped with a quilted cotton-lined trunk support, shoulder straps, and a hip belt. The segmented design of the seat back permits the trunk support and shoulder straps to be positioned specifically for the child. This chair also features tilt-in-space capability (15, 20, or 25 degrees), a removable abductor, and includes a melamine tray that locks securely in place with a quick-release lever. OPTIONS: Lateral head and trunk support. DIMENSIONS: The seat depth adjusts from 7 to 10 inches and the seat width is 12 inches. The seat back is 22 inches high. On the pedestal base, the chair adjusts from 19 to 24 inches. The floor sitter is 7.5 inches high. The wheels are 2 inches in diameter. The tray is 12 x 18 inches. CAPACITY: 75 pounds. WEIGHT: 46 ponds.

    The Ladybug Corner Chair is a corner seat designed for use by children three years old and under with neurological or mobility disabilities. This chair facilitates upright sitting and head control, offers support for straight-backed sitting, and helps protract the shoulders so that arms can come forward to function in midline. The seat back adjusts forward or backward along the seat base to enable the children to sit either in a long-leg or in a conventional sitting position. In addition, the seat back can be removed when the child is ready to learn independent sitting. This chair has a tubular steel frame with locking swivel casters and the seat is upholstered in padded vinyl. An H-strap harness, hip belt, abductor, and a removable tray aid in positioning. The chair's legs are independently height-adjustable to allow the seat to be inclined for children who are not ready for upright sitting. OPTIONS: A headrest is available. DIMENSIONS: The seat back is 12 inches high without the optional headreast and 16 inches high with the headrest. The seat width adjusts from 12 to 13 inches and the floor to seat height adjusts from 6 to 10 inches. The seat base is 13 x 19 inches and the tray is 13 x 11 inches. The casters are 2 inches in diameter. CAPACITY: 50 pounds. WEIGHT: 27 pounds. COLOR: Black frame with red upholstery.

  6. SNUG SUPPORT WEDGE POSITIONER Picture of SNUG SUPPORT WEDGE POSITIONER

    The Snug Support Wedge Positioner is a wege seat designed to support infants up to 30 inches long at a 30-degree angle. The angle is conducive to relaxation, feeding, stimulation, and to alleviate gastroesophageal reflux. The seat is covered in polymer-coated fabric for ease in cleaning and includes a hook-and-loop fastening waist and crotch belt and three adjustable bumpers for support. COLOR: Multi-colored clown print.

  7. UP-DOWN CHAIR, THE Picture of UP-DOWN CHAIR, THE

    The Up-Down Chair is a youth positioning chair designed for use by children with mobility disabilities. This chair enables children from 43 to 63 inches tall to participate in activities at any level, from floor to table top without leaving the chair; a foot lever enables a caregiver to adjust the seat to floor height as needed. Other standard features include push-button tilt-in-space adjustment from zero to 25 degrees, adjustable seat depth, height adjustable armrests, a height adjustable foot support board, an H-strap harness and soft quilted cotton trunk support, and a melamine tray. This chair has a tubular steel frame with dual locking casters for mobility, and wipe-clean fabric upholstery. OPTIONS: Hip stabilization and head and lateral trunk supports. DIMENSIONS: The seat height adjusts from 12 to 26 inches above the floor. The chair is 16 inches wide and the seat depth adjusts from 9 to 16 inches. The base is 29 x 35 inches and the foot support is 8 x 14 inches. The seat back is 30 inches high and the armrests adjust from 5 to 9 inches above the seat. CAPACITY: 125 pounds. WEIGHT: 90 pounds.

  8. VIVO Picture of VIVO

    Vivo is a combination gait trainer and balance training device designed for use by children with balance and walking disabilities. With its pony head that bounces when the unit moves and beaded mane and tail, this device captures a child's imagination. This device is available as a combination unit, as a rocker unit only, or as a walker unit only. When used as a rocking horse style device, the unit promotes balance reaction skills and upper body postural development. The soft, upholstered seat back with molded laterals is height adjustable for optimum positioning. Also included with the rocking horse adaptation are a height- and angle-adjustable foam-covered handle bar, a molded foam saddle, and feet stirrups for additional positioning security. When the child has gained upper body control, the device converts to a gait trainer by changing the legs. The walker unit includes the handle bar, height-adjustable walking legs, a foam-padded straddle seat, four dual lock casters, a height-adjustable seat back with molded laterals, and wrap-around trunk support. OPTIONS: Leg divider, high seat back, a tray, and others. DIMENSIONS: The foam saddle on the rocker is 9 inches wide, the stirrups adjust from 6 to 13 inches long, and the seat is 8.5 inches high x 7.5 inches wide. The straddle seat on the walker adjusts from 9.5 to 18.5 inches high from the floor and the casters are 3 inches in diameter.
