  1. INDEPENDENCE CUPS AND MUGS (MODELS PSC51, PSC52, PSC53, AND PSC55)

    The Independence Cups and Mugs are cups with lids and large handles designed for use by individuals who have difficulty grasping conventional cups or who have drinking and swallowing disabilities. All models hold hot ot cold liquids and are institutional dishwasher safe. Each cup or mug comes with a feeding spout lid and a non-splash lid; both lids also accept standard straws. Made of polycarbonate, model PSC55 is a ten-ounce clear cup with a large inverted L handle. Model PSC52 has a standard mug-style handle and model PSC53 has twin handles; both models are made of polypropylene and hold six ounces. Also made of polypropylene, model PSC51 holds eight ounces and does not have a handle. OPTIONS: Sets of six spout or anti-splash lids are available. COLOR: Natural or light blue.

    The Kennedy Spillproof Cup (K-Cup) is a cup with a lid and large handle designed for use by individuals who have difficulty holding standard drinking glasses. The lightweight plastic cup features a large inverted L-shaped handle for right- or left-handed use and a screw-on lid with a hole for disposable straws. The dishwasher-safe and autoclavable cup can be used in a reclining position, holds seven ounces of warm or cold liquid, and accepts any standard straw. COLOR: Natural or light blue.

    The URSEC Female Urinal is a urinal designed for use by women with mobility disabilities, severe physical disabilities, or spinal cord injury. It can be used while the user is seated on the edge of a bed or in a reclined position. Contents cannot be spilled whatever the unit's position. The unit is made of soft polypropylene plastic that can be cleaned in bedpan washers and can be autoclaved at 130 degrees Centigrade (266 degrees Fahrenheit). For home use, the unit can be cleaned with cold water and chlorine.

    The URSEC Male Urinal is a urinal designed for use by men with mobility disabilities, severe physical disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This 32-ounce capacity urinal has an anti-reflux system to prevent spillage, even if it is rolled completely over. The unit is made of transparent plastic with a wide stable base and a large ergonomic handle that can be used to hang the unit on a bed rail. All edges and openings are smooth. Contents can be emptied using the screw-on MTQuick cap at the back of the unit, and the unit can be cleaned by unscrewing the anti-reflux funnel and rinsing the container with soap and water or a disinfectant.

    Curly Elastic Shoelaces are designed for use by individuals who cannot tie their shoes. The shoes are laced and then the user pulls on the ends of the laces to tighten as desired. When released, the ends of the laces coil, preventing the ends from dragging. The shoes stay laced and can be put on like a slip-on.
