    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 04/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The WeatherShield is an umbrella for wheelchairs designed to protect wheelchair users from the elements. This awning-style top may be used in a variety of positions and drops down between the wheelchair push handles and behind the seat when not in use. The unit comprises a locking lever assembly, which slips over and is permanently attached to the push handles, and the cover and frame unit. The cover is removable when not in use. The cover is made of vinyl-backed acrylic that resists mold, mildew, ultra-violet light, fading, and deterioration. COLOR: Brown, navy blue, marine blue, taupe, teal, and burgundy.
