1. BETTER BOARD SLANT BOARDS

   The Better Board Slant Board is a bookholder and table top writing desk designed for use by individuals who use wheelchairs or who have upper extremity. It is made of durable corrugated plastic, it has attached plastic clamps that hold paper well and includes non-slip feet to help it stay in place while in use. It has a 20-degree angle and can be used for reading, writing and copying. When not in use, this board folds to a thickness of 0.75 inch for stacking and storing. SIZES: Small and large. 3. HANDS AND FEET MARKERS (MODELS THC02107 & THC02108)

   Hands and Feet Markers, models THC02107 and THC02108, are floor footprints and hand markers designed for use in by children with disabilities during motor skills activities. 1. 180-DEGREE GONIOMETER

   The 180-Degree Goniometer is designed to enable therpaists to measure the range of motion of wrists and fingers. Made of stainless steel, these units are available in 7- and 14-inch models and have linear markings in inches and centimeters. The 7-inch model has a 180-degree scale marked in five-degree increments. The 14-inch model has two 180-degree scales marked in one-degree increments that read in either direction.

This non-tox, allergen- and latex-free sand acts and feels like wet sand molds like dough and is reusable and does not dry out. 38. DEVELOPMENTAL TEST OF VISUAL PERCEPTION, 2ND EDITION (DTVP-2)

    The Developmental Test of Visual Perception, 2nd Edition (DTVP-2) is an assessment evaluation test designed for use with children ages four to ten years with learning, cognition, motor, or physical disabilities. Sub-tests include visual-motor speed, position in space, eye-hand coordination, copying spatial relations, figure-ground, visual closure, and form constancy. The sub-tests are grouped into two categories: motor-reduced visual perception and visual-motor integration. Scoring is recorded as quotients in these areas. A general visual perception quotient is also generated. The complete set includes a manual, picture boards, 25 profile/examiner record forms, and 25 response booklets in a storage box.     Familiar Things are a set of 12 puzzles with large pieces designed for use by children with fine motor, perceptual, or neurological disabilities. Each of the 12 rubber puzzles consists of a square frame with the cut-out outline of a figure (fish, bear, cat, butterfly, boat, airplane, apple, and more) and the matching figure piece that fits inside.     The Finger Fidget from Peg-It is a finger and hand exerciser designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. 56. FINGER PRINT PEN

    The Finger Print Pen is an easy grasp pen designed for use by individuals with arthritis of the hand, limited distal mobility, or limited grasping ability. This small pen is attached to a ring into which slides the tip of one finger and requires only one other finger to steady it. SIZES: Small, medium, and large.

57. FINISH THE PICTURE

    Finish the Picture is a visual training activity designed for use with individuals with perceptual or neurological disabilities. This visual closure activity requires the user to complete a picture to match one printed on a small card. The wipe-off board permits repeated use. The set includes suggestions for working on visual closure skills.

58. FISHING

    Fishing is an eye hand coordination activity designed for use with children with neurological, cognitive, and fine motor disabilities. The set includes a fishing pole with a rubber hook that catches each chipboard fish or the old boot by Velcro on the tip of each. The fish are also labeled with numbers for points values or for number recognition training.

59. FIT-A-SPACE

    Fit-A-Space is an eye hand coordination activity designed for use by children ages three to six years old with fine motor, perceptuals, and neurological disabilities. This set includes 16 foam puzzle faces with 52 fit-in foam shapes, as well as three laces and foam shapes for stringing. Skill development is fostered in the areas of stringing, sorting and matching by shape and color, and forming and completing patterns.

60. FLEXI CUT CUP

    The Flexi Cut Cup is a nose cutout glass designed for use by individuals who drink without neck extension. The liquid is visible through the translucent cup and the one- and two-ounce models are flexible enough to be squeezed to change the shape of the lip during assisted drinking. The seven-ounce model is designed for independent drinking and is stiffer. All models are top rack dishwasher-safe (dry without heat). COLOR: The one-ounce model is pink; the two-ounce model is blue; and the seven-ounce model is green.

61. FLEXIBLE SOCK AND STOCKING AID (MODEL 2087)

    The Flexible Sock and Stocking Aid, model 2087, is designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or back disabilities. This flexible plastic aid is lined with nylon to reduce friction and covered with terry cloth to hold the sock or stocking in position until it is on the foot. The user silps the sock over the aid, inserts the foot, and pulls on the looped straps to pull the sock on. COLOR: Blue nylon lining and beige terry cloth cover.

62. FLEXTENDERPLUS

    FlextenderPlus is a hand and finger exerciser designed for use by individuals with disabilities of the fingers and hands. Comprised of ergonomically designed framed latex, provides both flexion and extension workouts for one or two hands. These exercises strengthen one or all muscles of the thumb, fingers, wrist, and forearm and increase proprioceptive awareness of the hand. These exercisers are color-coded by resistance. An illustrated guide with 25 exercises is included. OPTIONS: Nailguards to protect the exercisers from damage from fingernails are available. 63. FLIPOVER, THE

    The Flipover is an eye hand coordination acivity designed for use by children with fine motor disabilities. Spinning this small round top promotes the same grasp needed to hold a pencil. When the top is given a hard, fast snap, the top will flip over and spin on its stick.

64. FLO-TROL VACUUM FEEDING CUP

    The Flo-Trol Vacuum Feeding Cup is a plastic glass and lid with a spout designed to prevent any spillage from the container, even if the cup is lying on its side, while allowing drinking when the vacuum button is pressed. Available with a rubber air release button to enable drinking liquid without raising the head; pushing this button releases a small, controlled amount of liquid. The cup is also available without the rubber plug and intake can be controlled by placing a finger over the air vent in the top. Gradations from four to eight ounces enable fluid intake to be measured or limited. This eight-ounce cup is steam autoclavable at 250 degrees Fahrenheit and top-shelf dishwasher-safe.

65. FOAM GRIP

    The Foam Grip is a pencil holder designed for use by children and adults with upper extremity disabilities. This short round grip provides a cushion for those who grip the writing implement too tight. DIMENSIONS: 1.5 inches long.

    Foam Squeezies are hand and finger exercisers designed for use with older children and adults with hand, cognitive, sensory, or neurological disabilities. 67. FOLD-AWAY EASEL

    The Fold-Away Easel is a bookholder and table top writing desk designed for use by individuals who use wheelchairs or who have upper extremity disabilities. The surface of the easel adjusts to 18, 34, or 45 degrees and features a dry-erase writing surface and a pouch for storing papers. 68. FOLDING STOCKING AID

    The Folding Stocking Aid is designed for use by individuals who have difficulty bending. To use, the side wings are folded to the center of the device and the device is inserted in the sock and the user slides the foot in. Pulling on the wide web strap pulls the sock on. The pointed tip can be used a shoe horn. The device opens flat for storage.

    Follow the Path is an eye hand coordination activity designed for use by children with eye hand or fine motor disabilities. This reusable eye hand coordination activity includes 12 wipe-off cards with tasks ranging from drawing a staight line from left to right to following curves and sharp angles. The front of each card has a picture to follow and the backs are blank for creating custom designs.

70. FOOD BUMPER

    The Food Bumper is a food guard designed for use by children and adults with upper extremity disabilities or who are blind or have low vision.     Goo is a tactile discrimination training activity designed for use by individuals with cognitive, sensory, or neurological disabilities. Availabled in Bugs 'N Goo or Alien Goo (each sold separately), each jar is filled with thick, water-based gel-like "goo" interspersed with character figures. Users stick their hands in the "goo" to find and identify the figures. The "goo" can be used in the jar, but it is also thick enough to be removed from the jar and used on a table without spreading.

77. GOOD GRIPS COATED SPOONS

    Good Grips Coated Spoons are spoons with built-up handles designed for use by children and adults with biting reflexes and limited grasping ability or coordination. These ergonomically designed utensils have large rubber handles and metal shafts with built-in twists to allow the bowl to be bent to the desired angle. 83. GRIP-TEC UTENSILS

    Grip-Tec Utensils are easy grasp pens and pencils designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. The ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil (sold separately) are each available in right- or left-handed models and have molded shafts in the shape of a grasp. The pencil has thick primary lead and is slightly weighted. OPTIONS: A set of six replacement leads and a sharpener are available.

84. GRIPWARE PARTITIONED SCOOP DISH

    The Hip Hugger Magnetic Mosaic is a perceptual training activity designed for use by children and adults with cognitive, perceptual, sensory, and fine motor disabilities. This set includes magnetic squares, triangles, and circles for creating personal designs or replicating one of the included patterns. When folded, the included vinyl case serves as a playng board. 91. HOLE-IN-ONE CUTLERY

    IntelliKeys is a modified and expanded keyboard for children and adults with visual, physical or cognitive disabilities. IntelliPics is designed to be used with IntelliKeys, a mouse, a switch, a TouchWindow (see separate entry), or a standard keyboard.The program also enables overlays to be created (Overlay Maker required; see separate entry) to provide access each time a child uses a custom-designed activity. The screen and speech options may be customized to suit individual needs and tastes. The Windows version of this program includes a conversion program to convert Macintosh IntelliPics files to the Windows platform. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh computers or IBM and compatible computers.     The Kennedy Spillproof Cup (K-Cup) is a cup with a lid and large handle designed for use by individuals who have difficulty holding standard drinking glasses. The lightweight plastic cup features a large inverted L-shaped handle for right- or left-handed use and a screw-on lid with a hole for disposable straws. The dishwasher-safe and autoclavable cup can be used in a reclining position, holds seven ounces of warm or cold liquid, and accepts any standard straw. COLOR: Natural or light blue.

99. KEYGUARDS

    The Keygards are designed for use with Apple and Apple II computer keyboards. This item fits directly on the keyboard and aids in stabilizing the fingers or a typing stick during typing. 100. KINDERTOOLS BABY'S FIRST TOOTHBRUSH & KINDERTOOLS TODDLER'S TOOTHBRUSH

     The Kindertools Baby's First Toothbrush and the Kindertools Toddler's Toothbrush are toothbrushes designed for use by young children with limited grasping ability. The triangular Baby brush is intended for use on the first teeth and features short bristles affixed directly to the plastic handle with no stem. The handle has two triangular openings into which the child's fingers slip. The user may also wrap his or her hand around the handle.      The Kindertools Spoon and Fork are a child spoon and fork designed for use by children with limited grasping ability. The plastic spoon and fork each feature the Kindertools handle with two triangular openings into which the child's fingers slip. The user may also wrap his or her hand around the handle. 102. KITTEN CARDS

     Kitten Cards are a training system for matching/sorting/ assembly designed for use with children with cognitive or perceptual disabilities. On each corner of each card one quarter of a kitten (head, tail, front legs, or back legs) is represented, each in a different color. Players match the parts and colors to create a complete image. The setincludes rules for several games of varying levels of difficulty.

103. KNO BOWS

     Kno Bows are shoe lace fasteners designed for one hand use. The fasteners consist of a pinch button that lock to tighten or loosen laces.

104. KRAZY DRINKING STRAWS

     Krazy Drinking Straws are designed for use by children with oral motor disabilities. Available in sets of four heart straws or four happy straws (each set sold separately), these plastic straws are molded with the shape integral to the straw to encourage use and aid in developing oral motor control. OPTIONS: A set of eight connector straws is available.

105. LACING PUPPETS

     Lacing Puppets are an eye hand coordination activity designed for use with children with fine motor disabilities. Each kit includes pre-cut felt body pieces, yarn, plastic needles, and felt remnant pieces for decorating. Children sew/lace the pieces together and decorate them. 108. LARGE FLOOR TILES

     The Large Floor Tiles are large geometric shapes designed for use by individuals with mobility, neurological, and balance disabilities. These washable soft, interlocking tiles can be used for a variety of visual/perceptual and perceptual/cognitive disabilities. These tiles are available in a set of five plain and five puzzle tiles, a set of lowercase letters with removable centers, and a set of uppercase letters with removable centers.      Learning Wrap-Ups are alphabet and math skills games designed for use with children with fine motor, neurological, and cognitive disabilities. Each set (sold separately), includes 10 boards with notches running the length of each side. Adjacent to each notch, is a letter or number and the user draws a string from one notch to another and wraps the string around the appropriately corresponding notch to solve a problem. Sets include the alphabet, addition, subtraction, and multiplication. The alphabet set teaches vowels, fill-ins, matching, sequencing, and more. Math sets start with the number one and proceed through the number ten.

     The Leather Craft Kits are eye hand coordination activities designed for us eby individuals with fine motor disabilities. Each kit (sold separately) includes leather pieces pre-punched with holes for lacing, necessary metal parts, plactic lacing, and instructions. 112. LEOPARD TREATS

     Leopard Treats is an eye hand coordination activity designed for use with children with fine motor or perceptual disabilities. Designed for one to six players, this easy-to-understand game requires players to throw a die to determine how many spots they receive to place on their laminated leopard mats.      Loop Scissors are designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. Available in upper case manuscript, lower case manuscript, upper case cursive, and lower case cursive (each sold separately), these sturdy plastic stencils are designed so that the hand lifts automatically where normal lifting occurs in writing. These stencils assist in giving practice in forming the correct contour of each letters (arrows cue the desired direction), coordination of eye and hand movements, and developing standard stroke patterns.

     The Scooper Bowl and the Scooper Plate are designed for use by individuals with use of only one hand or with other upper extremity disabilities.      See It, Make It is a visual training activity designed for use with individuals with perceptual or neurological disabilities. This spatial relationship and design copying activity requires the user to trace one of the large geometric designs with a finger and then draw it on one of the 12 double-sided reusable cards. Suggestions for other activities are also included.

201. SENSORIMOTOR PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS (SPA)

     The Sensorimotor Performance Analysis (SPA) is designed to provide a qualitative record of gross and fine motor tasks. Designed for use with ambulatory individuals from five years of age through adulthood who have developmental disabilities, the evaluation consists of four gross motor tasks and three fine motor tasks. The manual ($34) describes the use and interpretation of the SPA, gives examples of SPA-based treatment plans, and provides scoring criterion. The Scoring Profile groups the performance components of each test item according to their related sensorimotor components. A set of 30 Profiles and Test forms ($20) is sold separately from the manual.

205. SHOW ME MATH

     The Show Me Math Set is a math tutorial program designed for use with individuals with learning disabilities. This Touch Screen (see separate entry) compatible software program uses lively, animated characters to demonstrate math problems. The software includes an assessment module and an instructional model. The instructional mode generates random problems which appear on the screen. Users can select the answer by using the keyboard, clicking on a number, or by choosing the "Show Me!" option. If that option is selected, a short animated movie illustrates the solution to the problem. For example, seven ants join six ants to make 13 ants. The set includes addition/subtraction, multiplication, and division. COMPATIBILITY: CD-ROM hybrid for use on Macintosh or IBM and compatible computers.      Show Me Spelling Intellikeys Bundle is a spelling tutorial program and keytop overlay set designed for use with children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. The set includes the Show Me Spelling software from Attainment Company on a Macintosh/ Windows CD-ROM and the appropriate IntelliKeys (see separate entry) overlays. The program enables students to learn to spell up to 500 words independently. Custom spelling lists can be created or one of the pre-selected lists may be used. The program includes "Hints" and "Show Me!" options to provide assistance to the student. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh computers. This timer creates a visual awareness of elapsed time as the large colored wedge moves on the face. The time disc can be moved manually in either direction and can be set at any point on the face. 208. SINGLE HANDHOLD & DOUBLE HANDHOLD

     The Single Handhold and the Double Handhold are hand positioners designed for use by individuals with physical, neurological, or balance disabilities. The Single Handhold is a vertical plastic dowel with a strong suction cup base that secures to any smooth, hard surface to stabilize the non-dominant hand during sitting tasks. The Double Handhold consists of a ribbed plastic dowel bent at a 45-degree angle in the center with a suction cup at either end to provide upper body assistance using both hands.      Simply Smart Writing Paper is designed for use with children with eye hand and fine motor disabilities. These easy-to-grasp animals squeak at the lightest touch for auditory feedback and the soft protrusions covering each animal provide tactile proprioceptive input and help decrease tactile devensiveness. Available animals (each sold separately) include a caterpillar, a little catepillar, a hedgehog, a baby hedgehog, and a hands-up monster.      Zoo Cards are a training system for matching/sorting/ assembly designed for use with children with cognitive or perceptual disabilities. Each card represents one quarter of an animal (head, tail, front legs, and back legs). The eight cards form 12 different animals, each on its own color background. Suggestions for a variety of games are included on the storage box.

278. ZOO STICKS

     Zoo Sticks are eye hand coordination exercisers designed for use with children with eye hand coordination or fine motor disabilities. These animal chopsticks can be used like large tweezers to grasp items, strengthening the skill side of the hand.

279. ZOOMCAPS

     ZoomCaps are large print keytop overlays designed to make computer keyboards accesible to individuals with low vision. The alphanumeric characters are printed in large 40-point type and the labels affix to the top of the keys. Letters are presented in upper case only. There are ninety-one labels per set including labels for all alphanumeric keys and for many special keys (Esc, F1, Shift, Ctrl, etc). COMPATIBILITY: Sets are available for use on IBM and compatible keyboards and for Apple Macintosh and Apple IIe/IIc keyboards. COLOR: Available in a choice of white letters on a black background or black letters on a white background.
