The Better Board Slant Board is a bookholder and table top writing desk designed for use by individuals who use wheelchairs or who have upper extremity. It is made of durable corrugated plastic, it has attached plastic clamps that hold paper well and includes non-slip feet to help it stay in place while in use. The 180-Degree Goniometer is designed to enable therpaists to measure the range of motion of wrists and fingers. Made of stainless steel, these units are available in 7- and 14-inch models and have linear markings in inches and centimeters. The Developmental Test of Visual Perception, 2nd Edition (DTVP-2) is an assessment evaluation test designed for use with children ages four to ten years with learning, cognition, motor, or physical disabilities. Sub-tests include visual-motor speed, position in space, eye-hand coordination, copying spatial relations, figure-ground, visual closure, and form constancy. The sub-tests are grouped into two categories: motor-reduced visual perception and visual-motor integration. Scoring is recorded as quotients in these areas. FLO-TROL VACUUM FEEDING CUP
The Flo-Trol Vacuum Feeding Cup is a plastic glass and lid with a spout designed to prevent any spillage from the container, even if the cup is lying on its side, while allowing drinking when the vacuum button is pressed. Available with a rubber air release button to enable drinking liquid without raising the head; pushing this button releases a small, controlled amount of liquid. The cup is also available without the rubber plug and intake can be controlled by placing a finger over the air vent in the top. Included are five activities with an overlay for IntelliKeys (see separate entry): Animals, Make It Move, Nursery Rhymes, Butterscotch Brownies, and Funny Noises. IntelliPics is designed to be used with IntelliKeys, a mouse, a switch, a TouchWindow (see separate entry), or a standard keyboard.The program also enables overlays to be created (Overlay Maker required; see separate entry) to provide access each time a child uses a custom-designed activity. The Windows version of this program includes a conversion program to convert Macintosh IntelliPics files to the Windows platform. SENSORIMOTOR PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS (SPA)
The Sensorimotor Performance Analysis (SPA) is designed to provide a qualitative record of gross and fine motor tasks. Designed for use with ambulatory individuals from five years of age through adulthood who have developmental disabilities, the evaluation consists of four gross motor tasks and three fine motor tasks. The manual ($34) describes the use and interpretation of the SPA, gives examples of SPA-based treatment plans, and provides scoring criterion. The Scoring Profile groups the performance components of each test item according to their related sensorimotor components. The Show Me Math Set is a math tutorial program designed for use with individuals with learning disabilities. Users can select the answer by using the keyboard, clicking on a number, or by choosing the "Show Me!" option. The alphanumeric characters are printed in large 40-point type and the labels affix to the top of the keys. Letters are presented in upper case only. There are ninety-one labels per set including labels for all alphanumeric keys and for many special keys (Esc, F1, Shift, Ctrl, etc). COMPATIBILITY: Sets are available for use on IBM and compatible keyboards and for Apple Macintosh and Apple IIe/IIc keyboards. COLOR: Available in a choice of white letters on a black background or black letters on a white background.
