     Supergrip Utensils, models A703200 thru A703203 are eating utensils designed for use by individuals with arthritis of the hand or grasping disabilities. These dishwasher-safe stainless steel utensils feature built-up ribbed rubber handles intended to make grasping easier. Available models include a table knife, a dinner fork, a teaspoon, and a tablespoon. Utensils are available separately or in a set of four. DIMENSIONS: The teaspoon and tablespoon are 7 inches long. 111. SYNERGEL DIMENSIONS PAD

     The Synergel Dimensions Pad is a gel flotation seat pad and decubitis pad designed for use by wheelchair users to prevent pressure sores. The pads can improve comfort while protecting boney prominences and preventing or reducing shear, impact, vibration and harmful pressure related problems. The pad is made of of a silicone polymer with the same physical characteristics as human fat tissue. Its cellular structure allows air to circulate between cells to minimize heat and moisture build up. The polymer is a solid and does not flow or leak if cut or punctured. It does not dry out over time. This cushion returns to and maintain its shape for many years and does not bottom out. Its softness (durometer) is unchanged at any temperature. The polymer is odorless and hypoallergenic and does not contain latex or isocynates. It can be gently submerged completely in water for cleaning. 114. THERMAL GLOVES

     Thermal Gloves are designed for wear by individuals with arthritis of the hand. 115. THOMAS STEADY ARM

     The Thomas Steady Arm is an arm support for feeding and a writing aid designed for use by children or adults with disabilities causing arm and hand tremors. This unit eliminates and/or significantly controls tremors by supporting graduated vertical, horizontal, and circular movements. The unit mounts to any table top (other than glass) or to a wheelchair. The user's arm is placed in a trough-style arm holder and secured with straps, and the unit's three tension adjusters are set to counter tremors. This arm support can enable the user to eat, drink, write, or brush his or her own hair. It can be used by left- or right-handed individuals of any size and for any type of tremor. 117. TOTAL HIP KIT

     The Total Hip Kit is designed for use by individuals who have had a hip replacement. The kit includes a Tall-Ette elevated toilet seat (see also separate entry), a long-handled sponge for bathing, a long-handled shoe horn, a sock aid to assist in putting on socks without bending, and a reacher with a pistol grip and a single claw gripper. The kit is packed in a sturdy cardboard carrying box and includes instructions forthe use of each item. The kit is also available without the toilet seat.

118. TRANSFER BELT

     The Transfer Belt is a gait belt designed for use with individuals with mobility disabilities. This belt enables a therapist or caregiver to provide light to moderate assistance during walking, sitting, or transferring. This belt features hook-and-loop closure and two webbing handholds. DIMENSIONS: Models are available to fit 28 to 42 inch waists, 32 to 48 inch waists, and 36 to 54 inch waists.

119. TUBE SQUEEZER

     The Tube Squeezer is a tube key designed for use by individuals with arthritis or other disabilities of the hand. The unit consists of a base into which the bottom of a plastic or metal toothpaste, ointment, or other tube is placed. Turning the key on the side dispenses the product. As the tube empties, it wraps around the key. DIMENSIONS: The slot in the base accepts tubes up to 2 inches wide.

120. UNDER-TOE WASHER

     The Under-Toe Washer is a long handled sponge designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities, spinal cord injury or arthritis or anyone having trouble bending or reaching either foot. The device consists of a stick with a soft built-up handle on one end and a sponge on the other end. The sponge fits between the toes, and it can be removed and replaced.      The Universal Hand Clip is a grasping aid for the hand designed for use by individuals with limited hand strength, arthritis or other graspings or upper extremity disabilities. 123. WEAR EASE SHOE FASTENERS

     The Wear Ease Shoe Fasteners are shoe lace fasteners designed for use by individuals with upper extremity, fine motor or neurological disabilities or arthritis. These fasteners are straps that allow for easier fastening and unfastening of shoes by converting regular lace up shoes to easily used hook-and–loop closures. D-rings facilitate closing and opening of the strap. Each fastener fits shoes with 2-3 eyelets, and shoes with 4-6 eyelets require two fasteners. SIZES: One size fits all. 124. YOUTH BANDANA BIB

     The Youth Bandana Bib is a bib designed for use by youth with eating, swallowing, or upper extremity disabilities. 126. ZIP-IT ZIPPER PULL

     The Zip-It Zipper Pull is designed to enable individuals with limited manual dexterity to manipulate zippers. The device consists of a T-Shaped handle with a hook imbedded in one end. To pull a zipper, the user slips the hook through the hole in the zipper tab and pulls the handle up or down.
