   The Beamer Personal Transport Vehicle is a powered wheelchair alternative designed for use by individuals with lower extremity disabilities or people who lack stamina. The Beamer is an electric transportation device on which the user stands when in motion. 500 watt motors in the hub of each of the two front wheels power this device. It has a horn, brake light, turn signals, and tail light. The vehicle has two back wheels for added stability, reinforced steel rider platform with high-impact plastic cover, and built-in precision gyroscope technology so it can travel on many surfaces.    The Black and Decker Gizmo Cordless Can Opener, model EM 200, is a lightweight can opener designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. Once the lid is pierced, the opener moves around the lid and shuts itself off when the can is open. The unit has a lid release to hold and drop the can lid and a removable blade. The unit's small storage/recharger base can be wall mounted or stored in a drawer. POWER: Uses rechargeable batteries (included) that recharge in the opener's storage base. Its filter captures 98 percent of large airborne allergens like pollen, mold and dust mite debris, along with microscopic allergens like smoke, smog, household dust, pet dander, bacteria and particles that can carry viruses.    Happy Navigator from Kettrike is a child's tricycle designed for use by children with disabilities. This is an adapted version of a standard tricycle with a push bar, AM-9 pedal plates, and a seat belt. It has an adjustable steel step-through frame with multiple telescoping frame settings. The handlebars can be locked into place to allow a parent to steer with the push bar. Auto-Freewheel allows children to rest their feet on the pedals while parents guide them. The user then pushes the fruits or vegetables through unit with a plunger attachment in to the rotating cutting blades. The SaladShooter includes two types of blades - slicing and shredding. 18. SENSOR SOAP PUMP

    The Sensor Soap Pump is a liquid soap or lotion dispenser designed for use by individuals with neurological, upper extremity, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This automatic unit dispenses soap touch-free when the user places a hand under the sensor. An LED light timer blinks for 20 seconds to indicate how long to lather for germ-free hands. 20. TIMEX EASY-READER WATCHES

    Timex Easy Readers are low vision watches designed for use by individuals with low vision. Available in men's and women's styles, these quartz analog watches have easy to read black numbers on a white background. Available with a leather band or an expansion band, these water-resistant watches have a second hand and an Indiglo night light. The men's models with the expansion bands also have a date function. COLOR: The leather band is black. The men's expansion band is available in gold or silver. The women's expansion band is available in silver or two-tone gold and silver.

21. WEMO SWITCH

    The WeMo Switch is a remote control switch and an environmental control unit designed for use by people with cognitive or memory disabilities or parents or caregivers of adults or children with developmental or other disabilities that may result in their failing to turn lights or appliances on or off. This switch is designed to be used with the WeMo app (see separate entry) which connects to the WeMo Switch though a WiFi network in the user's home. A home WiFi network is required for operation. The WeMo Switch plugs into a standard wall outlet, and any light or appliance can be plugged into the switch. The user of the WeMo app to turn the device on or off, or set a schedule for the device to turn on or off throughout the day. In addition, the WeMo app can connect to the WeMo Motion motion detection sensor (see separate entry), and the user can set any light or device connected to a WeMo Switch to turn on or off with motion is detected.
