1. MAGNILINK AUTOFOCUS MODEL 709X

   The Magnilink Autofocus is a desktop CCTV or video magnifier designed for use by persons who have low vision. When an object is placed on the reading table of the unit, the machine focuses immediately on the object and displays its enlarged image on a color monitor. The autofocus feature works for objects up to 4.5 inches in thickness. The user may also choose manual focusing by flipping a switch. Magnified objects can be displayed either in their true colors or in artificial colors chosen by the user. The user can switch the display between positive (light background, dark text) and negative (dark background, light text) images. A reference line aids users in keeping their place when reading. POWER: Uses 130 watts. OPTIONS: 14-inch monitor (3x to 39x magnification range), 17-inch monitor (3.5x to 45x magnification range), or 21-inch monitor (4.5x to 60x magnification range). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): With 17-inch monitor, 27.6 x 19.7 x 18.1 inches. The free working height between the tray and camera is 6.7 inches. The reading table (LxW) is 11.8 x 16.5 inches. 2. MAGNILINK COLIBRI READER, MAGNILINK COLIBRI SWITCH, AND MAGNILINK COLIBRI SPLIT

   The Magnilink Colibri Reader, Magnilink Colibri Switch, and Magnilink Colibri Split are desktop CCTV's or video magnifiers designed for persons who have low vision. All models are full-color VGA-based CCTV systems that can be connected with any personal computer monitor in any size. Other features shared by all three models include true color photo mode, the ability to display objects either in their true colors or in artificial colors chosen by the user, the ability to display objects as positive images (light background, dark text) or negative images (dark background, light text), and a guiding reference line that makes it easy to follow a text line by line. The Reader comes with its own VGA monitor and can function as a reading system without being connected to a personal computer. The Switch and Split are both connected to a personal computer with a VGA monitor. The Switch allows the user to toggle between the full computer screen and a full-screen magnified CCTV image by pressing a foot pedal. The Split allows the user to split the screen between the computer and the CCTV camera. The Split also features an extra digital zoom that doubles its magnification. POWER: Uses 100 to 240 volts, 50 to 60 Hertz. OPTIONS: For Magnilink Colibri Reader, 15-inch monitor (4x to 20x magnification range) or a 17-inch monitor (5x to 25x magnification range), and an external switch for connecting to personal computer. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): The camera unit is 12.2 x 16.9 x 14.6 inches. The reading table is 11.8 x 13.2 inches. The free working height between the tray and camera is 5.1 inches. WEIGHT: Camera unit weighs 13 kilograms.

3. MAGNILINK PENGUIN

   The Magnilink Penguin is a desktop CCTV or video magnifier designed for use by persons with low vision. The Penguin is a black-and-white CCTV with a 14-inch monitor and a magnification range of 4x to 20x. The user can switch the display between positive (white background, black text) and negative (black background, white text) images. The Penguin has a photographic mode for viewing photos. The tray is easy to move and has an adjustable friction brake. POWER: Uses 100 to 240 volts, 50 to 60 Hz. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 21.5 x 17.1 x 14.6 inches. The monitor is 7.9 x 10.2 inches. The free working height between the tray and camera is 4.9 inches. WEIGHT: 16 kilograms (18.5 kilograms with packaging).

4. MAGNILINK SEAGULL

   The Magnilink Seagull is a desktop CCTV or video magnifier designed for persons who have low vision. The Seagull is a color CCTV that shows magnified objects either in their true colors or in artificial colors chosen by the user. The magnification range is 4x to 21x for the 14-inch-monitor model and 5x to 26x for the 17-inch-monitor model. The user can switch the display between positive (light background, dark text) and negative (dark background, light text) images. A reference line aids users in keeping their place when reading. POWER: Uses 120 volts, 60 Hertz. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): With 14-inch monitor, 24.8 x 19.7 x 15 inches; with 17-inch monitor, 27.6 x 19.7 x 16.5 inches. The free working height between the tray and camera is 5.1 inches. The reading table (LxW) is 11.8 x 13.2 inches. WEIGHT: The camera unit weighs 13 kilograms, the 14-inch monitor weighs 8.5 kilograms, and the 17-inch monitor weighs 12.5 kilograms.
