(Verified 2/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The MEDGlider System with Talking Reminder is a pill organizer and voice output medication reminder designed for use by persons who are blind or have low vision. It may also be useful to others who need reminders about taking medications. The MEDGlide system includes a daily pill organizer with four compartments with room for multiple pills, capsules, and tablets. The easy-to-program talking reminder unit has up to four daily alarms. Users can select a voice, sound, or light alarm. The voice alarm says, "Time to take your pill," and the sound alarm beeps. The reminder unit also features a large visual display. The reminder unit fits in a purse or pocket, or slides on top of the pill organizer. It can be used alone or with the daily organizer attached. A manual is included. POWER: Uses two triple-A batteries (included). OPTIONS: System 1 with one daily pill organizer, or System 7 with seven daily pill organizers and a weekly organizer tray. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): The electronic medication reminder unit is 0.75 x 4.25 x 1.75 inches; the daily pill organizer is 0.75 x 4 x 1.25 inches; the weekly organizer tray is 0.5 x 9.5 x 4.75 inches. WARRANTY: 30 days.
