  1. ADAPTIVE SPECIAL NEEDS PANTS AND SHORTS Picture of ADAPTIVE SPECIAL NEEDS PANTS AND SHORTS

    Adaptive Special Needs Pants and Shorts are men's, women's, or children's pants, slacks, jeans, or shorts designed for wear by children and adults with mobility or lower extremity disabilities or lower extremity amputation. Pants and shorts are available in a standard choice of polyester/cotton twill or polyester/cotton stretch denim. Additional fabrics are available. The pants and shorts are custom made to order. Wheelchair-style pants and shorts tuck at the hip panel for better fit, have a lower front and higher back, a stitched flat back seam, a one-piece back panel and waistband, and fly opening to the inseam. Both standard and wheelchair pants and shorts have wrist loops inside the waistband, choice of zipper and Velcro fly, and a standard front waistband and an elastic back waistband. OPTIONS: Option K2V has Velcro to the inseam (no extra charge). Option K2Z has an all elastic waist with a zipper to the inseam (no extra charge). Option K3 has an all elastic waist with Velcro fly to inseam (no extra charge). Option M1L (left leg) and M1R (right leg) have a 14-inch Velcro inseam opening for leg bag access ($4.50 per leg). Option L34 is a calf pocket with concealed Velcro tab closure on each leg ($8 per pair). Option M5 is a Velcro waistband and fly closure to the inseam plus seven inches of Velcro at the top of each inseam ($7.50). A combination of options may be incorporated in pants or shorts. SIZES: Based on individual measurements. DIMENSIONS: Pants and shorts can be made for waists 25 to 58 inches and hips 31 to 60 inches. Custom measurements for those with leg braces or uneven leg lengths are available. COLOR: The twill pants and shorts are available in navy, khaki, or black and the stretch denim pants are available in dark blue or black. Other colors may also be available. DELIVERY TIME: Seven to 10 days.

  2. ADAPTIVE TOTE BAG Picture of ADAPTIVE TOTE BAG

    The Adaptive Tote Bag is a wheelchair back pouch or a carrying bag for a walker designed for use by individuals with balance, walking, or mobility disabilities. Closed, this bag has the appearance of a knapsack. with two hook and loop attaching straps, a flap top, an outer trash receptacle or open pocket and a tissue holder. Inside is a zippered money holder with zipper pull, two pen/pencil holders, and three additional pockets. The bag is made of washable Codura nylon. DIMENSIONS (HxWxD): The bag is 10 x 8.5 x 2.5 inches. The straps secure to bars or wheelchair handles up to 10 inches in diameter and the width between the outside edges of the straps is 6.5 inches
