WORSHIP GUITARIST 1 & 2
Worship Guitarist 1 & Worship Guitarist 2 are audio music training courses designed to teach individuals who are blind or have low vision how to play guitar music for worship services. Both courses teach students to play the guitar without using any written or braille notation or visual references. It is possible to go through each entire course without using the accompanying books as everything in them is described in sufficient detail on the recordings. In order to use Course 2 it is necessary to have gone through Course 1 first. Course 1 teaches the most commonly used chords in first position and the most used patterns to play with them for contemporary worship accompaniment. These patterns are taught in a hands-on way using back-up tracks to play along with. Students also learn how to get in and out of any song with style. Worship Guitarist course 2 goes further into bar chords and two new rhythm patterns to stretch the user's repertoire of styles. It covers more songs and chords and provides a lesson on how to move from key to key in an almost seamless fashion to help create the ôflowö of good worship. The course also teaches how to put together a good worship list. Course 1 contains three cassette tapes and two books. Course 2 has four cassette tapes. OPTIONS: Audio cassette or CD.
