3V BASIC PERSONAL FM SYSTEM & 3V EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM
The 3V Basic Personal FM System is a FM amplication system designed for use in public settings by people who are hard of hearing. The system is designed to be simple to use, with the speaker wearing a body pack transmitter and the listener using a small personal receiver with an earphone. The system minimizes background noise. The set includes one body pack transmitter, one Lavalier microphone, one personal receiver, one mini earphone, two belt-clip cases, a soft nylon system carrying case, and an instruction manual. The 3V Educational System offers the same features, but substitutes a receiver with an environmental microphone. AT&T TDD (MODEL 2930)
Model 2930 is a pocket/purse-sized TDD suitable for traveling. It has a four-row keyboard with a two-row, 40-character LCD display. It automatically detects ASCII codes and Baudot codes and switches to the appropriate code, thus allowing communication with both computers and TDDs. Telephone adapter used to convert the Pocketalker personal amplifier (see separate entry) into a telephone amplifier. Allows listener to use the Pocketalker and an earphone to boost the caller's voice up to 100 times louder than standard telephones. Compact and portable, can be used at home, on the road, etc. Can be used with most newer telephones that have modular connectors on the handset cord. The Wireless Strobe and Door Chime is a doorbell signal designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This portable device features a choice of an eight note Westminster chime with a coordinating eight-flash strobe or a "ding-dong" chime with a two-flash strobe, volume control, a receptacle for other appliances, an on-off switch, and 64-chanel selectability to prevent false signaling. This unit has a 100-foot operating range.
