1. 3V BASIC PERSONAL FM SYSTEM & 3V EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

   The 3V Basic Personal FM System is a FM amplication system designed for use in public settings by people who are hard of hearing. The system is designed to be simple to use, with the speaker wearing a body pack transmitter and the listener using a small personal receiver with an earphone. The system minimizes background noise. The set includes one body pack transmitter, one Lavalier microphone, one personal receiver, one mini earphone, two belt-clip cases, a soft nylon system carrying case, and an instruction manual. The 3V Educational System offers the same features, but substitutes a receiver with an environmental microphone. POWER: Both systems use two rechargeable Ni-Cad double-A batteries or two alkaline double-A batteries (included). The 3V Dual Drop-in charger with four rechargeable double-A batteries is optional. 2. AMPLIFIED CORDLESS TELEPHONE

   The Amplified Cordless Telephone is a hearing-aid compatible cordless telephone designed for use by individuals with hearing disabilities. The handset volume adjusts up to 14 decibels and the phone has 25 chanels with automatic selection for clarity. Other features include Caller ID capability (with additional service from the local telephone company) and 20-number memory for one-touch dialing.

3. AT&T TDD (MODEL 2930)

   Model 2930 is a pocket/purse-sized TDD suitable for traveling. It has a four-row keyboard with a two-row, 40-character LCD display. It automatically detects ASCII codes and Baudot codes and switches to the appropriate code, thus allowing communication with both computers and TDDs. It communicates at 300 and 110 Baud ASCII as well as 45.45 Baud Baudot and 50 Baud ("International") Baudot. Features include 32K memory, voice announcer, memo and directory functions, line status and low battery indicators, sensitivity switch and auto shut-off. WARRANTY: Limited one year warranty.

4. AT&T TDD (MODELS 2700 & 2710)

   Model 2700 has a four-row, full-size keyboard with a 20-character display. The acoustic couplers accommodate both round and square style handsets. Features include line status and low battery indicators, high sensitivity switch for low-level or noisy telephone lines and an option of connecting to an external printer. Model 2710 has direct connection capability.

5. CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR WITH TRANSMITTER (MODEL SC896T)

   The Carbon Monoxide Detector with Transmitter, model SC896T, is a carbon monoxide detector designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The system includes a Macuro Gas Detector and a transmitter that is plugged into it. A silent call receiver alerts the user to carbon monoxide in the area. POWER: Uses 110 volts. WARRANTY: 1 year.

6. CLEARSOUNDS AMPLIFIED PHONE RING SIGNALER (MODEL CS-CL1)

   The ClearSounds Amplified Phone Ring Signaler, model CS-CL1, is a telephone signal amplifier designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. It delivers a forceful ring tone up to 95 decibels (dB) in volume, accompanied by a bright strobe that flashes along with the signal tone. Tone and volume are adjustable. 7. CLEARSOUNDS BED SHAKER (MODEL CS-SHK)

   The ClearSounds Bed Shaker, model CS-SHK, is a bed vibrator designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This vibrating signal device alerts the user while asleep or in any situation where it is hard to hear an alarm or phone ring. It works with the ClearSounds 40XLC Amplified Phone with Caller ID and Speakerphone, CS-WS1 Wake & Shake Alarm Clock, and CS-CL1 Amplified Phone Ring Signaler (see separate entries).    The ClearSounds Portable Telephone Amplifier, model CS-IL40, is a telephone amplifier designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. This device attaches to corded phones to increase the volume of incoming calls. It connects to corded phones with a dial pad in the base and is not designed for cordless or trimline phones. 9. COMBINATION HEAVY DUTY BED VIBRATOR AND DELUXE ALARM CLOCK

   The Combination Heavy Duty Bed Vibrator and Deluxe Alarm Clock is a digital alarm clock and bed vibrator designed to wake up individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The vibrator plugs into the back of the clock and is triggered by the clock's audible alarm. It is also good for heavy sleepers. The unit is compact and portable and can be used for home or travel. 10. COMBINATION PORTABLE BED VIBRATOR AND CLOCK (MODEL 2743)

    The Combination Smoke Detector and Strobe Light Alarm is designed to alert individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to smoke and fire. This device features both an audible alarm that sounds at a minimum of 85 decibels at ten feet and a flashing Zenon Strobe. The strobe is certified 2.5 candela at 60 flashes per minute.     The CrystalTone is a large button amplifier telephone designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. This phone increases incoming voice volume volume up to 35 decibels(dB), enhances sound quality and enables the user to customize volume, tone, and hearing frequency. CrystalTone control eliminates background noise and enhances sound. The push-button volume control turns amplification on and off, enabling the phone to be used by those not requiring amplification; when the amplification is turned back on, it returns to the user's settings.     The Gentex 7109CS is a photoelectric single station smoke detector for use where audible and visual alarms are required.     Private Page is a personal paging system designed for use by individuals with hearing disabilities. This system includes a base unit and one vibrating pager, has a range of two miles, toll-free customer service, and requires no monthly service fees or plans. The system can transmit 10 different message codes to up to 1000 pagers, saves message codes for one year, and offers a group page function. A four-digit LED display shows the pager number and message code. OPTIONS: Additional pagers and external antenna connection for greater range. WARRANTY: One year.

33. REMOTE HORN (MODEL RH 100)

    The Remote Horn, model RH 100, is a doorbell and telephone signal and sound monitor signal designed for use by individuals with hearing disabilities. When doorbell, telephone, or baby cry signals (not included) are activated, the Remote Horn emits a loud (78 to 85 decibels), low frequency audio horn sound. POWER: Uses normal household current.

Allows listener to use the Pocketalker and an earphone to boost the caller's voice up to 100 times louder than standard telephones. Compact and portable, can be used at home, on the road, etc. Can be used with most newer telephones that have modular connectors on the handset cord.
