  1. PERSONAL ALERT LINK (PAL)

    Personal Alert Link (PAL) is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by individuals with balance, mobility, neurological, or severe physical disabilities. The system includes a base station and a waterproof pendant. The base station plugs into a power outlet and a telephone jack. In order to be activated, the system must be connected to the Emergency24 monitoring system. To request help, the user presses the button on a waterproof pendant to send a signal wirelessly to the base station from up to 300 feet, depending on local conditions. An operator will then proceed to notify the authorities and the parties on the user's call list. POWER: Uses household current with backup battery. The unit self-diagnoses low battery conditions.
