  1. LIFESTAND LS Picture of LIFESTAND LS

    LifeStand LS is a stand up wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This is a manually propelled wheelchair with a manually powered standing mechanism. The user is lifted to standing position by propelling the chair forward, with assistance from a hydraulic cylinder system that is adjusted to the individual's weight. A power assisted stand unit is also available as an option. FRAME (LxWxH [sitting]): 96-108 x 57, 61, 65 or 69 x 84, 92 or 108 centimeters (cm). Rigid frame with push handles and hydraulic gas cylinders. The frame color is purple ice, chili pepper red, metallic charcoal gray, and black onyx. Anti-tippers are included.. SEAT (WxD): 36, 40, 44 or 48 x 41-55 centimeters. The seat depth and back angle are adjustable. The back is available in heights of 30, 40 or 50 centimeters. The seat-to-floor height is 51 centimeters. ARMRESTS: When sitting, the loop handles used for standing serve as armrests. BRAKES: Brake extensions are optional. CASTERS: Front casters, 15 centimeters in diameter. WHEELS: Quick release, 60-centimeters diameter wheels with optional no-flat inserts and vinyl coated hand rims. FOOTRESTS: Adjustable footrests and tibial supports are standard. CAPACITY: 120 kilograms. WEIGHT: 22, 23, 24 or 25 kilograms.

    The LifeStand LSA Helium is a stand up wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This is a manually propelled, manual standing wheelchair. The user lifts him- or herself to a standing position by grabbing standing mechanism handles and using the same motion that propels the chair forward, with assistance from a hydraulic cylinder system which is adjusted to the individual's weight. FRAME (HxLxW sitting): 78 or 91 (for 46 cm seat width only) x 89 or 101 (for 46 cm seat width only) x 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, or 76 centimeters. The standing length is 93 centimeters (105 cm for 46 cm seat width only). The Lifestand LSA Helium has a rigid magnesium frame with titanium tubes and carbon components. Push handles and anti-tips are optional. This chair is available in red (standard), black, blue, white or titanium (grey). SEAT (DxW): 43 or 53 (for 46 cm seat width only) x 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, or 46 centimeters. The back height is 32 or 45 (for 46 cm seat width only) centimeters; a 38 to 46 centimeter backrest extension is optional. The floor-to-seat height is 51 centimeters. The seat slants 7 degrees from the front. The seat depth and back angle are adjustable. A chest strap with metal buckle is standard. Carbon side clothing guards are optional. UPHOLSTERY: Padded nylon upholstery. The tautness of the seat and backrest upholstery can be adjusted using Velcro staps. ARMRESTS: When sitting, the handles used for standing serve as armrests. Swing-away armrests are optional. CASTERS: 5-inch aluminum front casters with flat-free tires. 6-inch casters, 5-inch soft roll wheels, or 4-inch flashing skate wheels are optional. WHEELS: 24-inch black hub wheels with aluminum handrims and hard polyester tires are standard; 26-inch wheels with 1-inch pneumatic tires are optional (requires 6-inch front casters). Also available are rubber-coated handrims, transparent spoke protectors, pneumatic tires, and flat-free tires. FOOTRESTS: Swing-away carbon footplate; footrest extensions are available. The unit is also equipped with a knee support unit composed of two foam pads on a carbon plate to ensure proper positioning. OPTIONS: Reflectors and rubber coated stand-up levers. CAPACITY: 100 kilograms. WEIGHT: 16 kilograms. When disassembled, the heaviest component is 13.5 kilograms.

    The LifeStand Compact (LSC) is a powered stand up wheelchair designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This powered chair has both motorized propulsion and motorized standing. The user can move from a seated to a standing position with power assistance, and can drive the unit and move about in either a seated or standing position. FRAME (HxLxW sitting): 100 or 110 x 98 or 110 x 67 centimeters. Rigid frame with push handles and a power standing unit designed into the frame. The frame is available in Child and Junior sizes and is available in red. Rear anti-tips are standard. The frame has shock absorbers and tie-down points for transport. CONTROLS: Swing-away left or right programmable joystick that controls moving and speed, standing, and backrest raising and lowering. The control unit has a liquid crystal display (LCD) for programming, including pre-selected speed rate and battery level indicator. RWD: E-Fix Power Driver hub rear wheel drive. SEAT (LxW): 34 to 40(Child) or 42 to 56 (Junior) x 36 centimeters (cm). The back height is 45 centimeters; a 55-cm back is available for the Junior size. The seat also has power recline capability. The back folds forward for storage. Options include side guards, headrest, and shoulder harness with front pull. UPHOLSTERY: Padded black nylon upholstery. The tautness of the seat and backrest upholstery can be adjusted using Velcro staps. ARMRESTS: Adjustable armrests that convert to chest supports when standing. BRAKES: Included. CASTERS: Two 8-inch front swivel casters with puncture-proof tires. WHEELS: Two 12.5-inch quick release rear power wheels with solid inserts. FOOTRESTS: Adjustable leg rests; contoured tibial supports with anti-decubitus pad; and adjustable aluminum footplate. OPTIONS: Removable tray table; gel kneepads; raised knee support; large comforts knee cushions; light kit; attendant mount for control unit. POWER: Two 180-watt motors. Uses four 12-volt batteries (not included). SPEED: Range is 25 kilometers on a single battery charge. CAPACITY: 120 kilograms. WEIGHT: 90 kilograms (including batteries).

    The LifeStand LSE is a stand up wheelchair designed for use by children and adults with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This mobile standing frame consists of a manually propelled wheelchair with a power stand-up unit. When the chair is in standing position, the user's chest, knees, and ankles are supported in a straight line. FRAME (LxWxH sitting): 109 x 59, 63, 67 or 72 x 86, 98 or 100 centimeters. The length when standing is 104 centimeters. Anti-tips are optional. The LifeStand LSE is available in the following colors: purple ice, chili pepper red, metallic charcoal gray, platinum silver and black onyx. Push handles are included. SEAT (DxW): 42-54 x 36, 40, 44, or 48 centimeters. The back height adjusts to 30, 40 and 50 centimeters. The floor-to-seat height is 48.5 (seat depth of 36 cm) or 51 centimeters. UPHOLSTERY: Padded nylon upholstery. ARMRESTS: Swing-away padded armrests with adjustable height and depth. The armrests swing inward to form a chest support when in the standing position. CASTERS: 15-centimeter aluminum front casters with flat-free tires. WHEELS: 550- or 600-centimeter wheels with aluminum handrims and hard polyester tires are standard. FOOTRESTS: Swing-away carbon footplate; footrest extensions are available. There is also a knee support unit composed of two foam pads on a carbon plate to ensure proper positioning. CAPACITY: 120 kilograms. WEIGHT: 22, 23, 24 or 25 kilograms. The heaviest element weighs 12, 13, 14 or 15 kilograms.

  5. TRANSBORDER Picture of TRANSBORDER

    The Transborder is a standing transfer aid designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. The device is a rotating pole that can be used to transfer from one seated position to another (eg., from one wheelchair to another). The user first turns and locks the direction handle, then puts his/her knees and feet in place, grasps the direction handle and stands slighty using arm strength, and then rotates to the selected point. OPTIONS: Carrying case ($30.00). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 136 x 97 x 149 centimeters (open) or 20 x 131 x 36 centimeters (folded). WEIGHT: 18 kilograms.
