  1. FDS TRANSPORTABLE HAND CONTROL

    The FDS Transportable Hand Control is an automobile hand control designed for use by individuals with lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. Made of aluminium and stainless steel, the device enables the driver to accelerate and brake manually, and has a swivel knob for single hand steering. The control is foldable and is stored in a pouch. It can be installed in almost any vehicle by clamping the connecting rods to the corresponding pedals, strapping the clamps for safety, adjusting the rod's length, and strapping the control to the steering column. DIMENSIONS (LxW): Folded the unit is 8 x 40 centimeters. WEIGHT: 1 kilogram.

  2. FDS TRANSPORTABLE LEFT FOOT ACCELERATOR

    The FDS Transportable Left Foot Accelerator is a left foot accelerator pedal designed for use by drivers with lower extremity disabilities, hemiplegic stroke, or amputation. This lightweight, compact system can installed in almost any vehicle as needed to allow the driver to use his or her left foot for braking and acceleration. The pedal is built from non corrosive materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, and marine grade plywood. The system is stowed in a special pouch. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 5 x 30 x 35 centimeters. WEIGHT: 1.5 kilograms.
