   The AT&T 2-Line Speakerphone, model 982, is a telephone with speakerphone designed for use by individuals who have difficulty holding a receiver. This hearing-aid compatible phone has two-line operation capability, 24 speed dial numbers, three-party conferencing (for multi-line systems), and chain dialing. Other features include a data port, distinctive ring tones, flash, headset compatibility (with a 2.5-millimeter jack), hold, line status indication, mute, programmable pause, and selectable dialing. The phone can be table or wall mounted, and comes with a base, a corded handset, a desk mount bracket, telephone line cords, and user's manuals.

2. AT&T STAND ALONE DIGITAL ANSWERING SYSTEM (MODEL 1739)

   The AT&T Stand Alone Digital Answering System, model 1739, is a telephone answering machine with variable speed playback designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. Variable speed playback allows the user to speed up or slow down messages when playing them back. Other features include 40 minutes of digital recording time; an audible message alert; remote message access; and a time/day stamp, which announces the time and day of each message before playback. The user can screen or intercept calls without answering, and record messages for callers and memos for personal use. The machine retains messages during power failures without batteries, and has an indicator showing how much digital recording time is remaining. The unit comes with a User's Manual.    The GE Amplified Cordless Phone for Mild Hearing Loss, model 27906GE1, is an amplified large- button cordless telephone designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing or have low vision. Hearing-related features include audio boost sound adjustment, volume control for incoming calls, an oversized ear seal, hearing aid compatibility, and ringer volume control. The phone has call-waiting and caller identification (ID) with a 40-name and number memory. The backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) shows the name and number of incoming calls even when the user is on another call. The memory holds information for the most recent 40 calls; the user can scroll through the list of incoming calls and delete those not wanted. Other features of this 2.4 GHz-frequency cordless phone include a redial button, backlit keypad, and a line in use indicator. The phone can sit on a flat surface or be hung on a wall. 5. GUARDIAN ALERT 911

   Guardian Alert 911 is an emergency alert system designed for use by individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities or seniors. Requiring no monthly subscriptions, or service fees, this device enables the user to speak directly with the local emergency operator, instead of a call center. The water-resistant pendant can be worn around the neck with the included lanyard, or carried in a pocket. In the event of an emergency, the user presses the panic button on the pendant to be connected directly with the 911 operator through the phone. Voice prompts confirm dialing, shutdown, system tests, and battery tests. The system comes with a base station and lanyard.
