  1. ABASOFT SCREEN AND TEXT MAGNIFIER Picture of ABASOFT SCREEN AND TEXT MAGNIFIER

The Abasoft Screen and Text Magnifier is a screen magnification program designed for use by individuals with low vision. This magnifier enlarges everything on the screen and offers multiple magnification selections. Other features include multiple window shapes and the ability to drag the magnifier window to different locations on the screen or to have it remain stationary or follow mouse movement. The dynamically moving magnifier window can be frozen by touching any screen edge with the mouse. Touching the screen edge again restores dynamic tracking. When the mouse cursor is detected at the edge of the computer screen, an expanding circles display provides visual notification as to mouse location. The program also offers a special "hide" feature: When the user is not using the magnifier but wants it readily available while working, clicking the "Hide" button makes the magnifier window disappear and touching the mouse to the edge of the screen causes the magnifier to re-appear ready to use. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible Netbook, laptop, notebook or desktop computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Pentium III, IV, Centrino or equivalent processor (such as Celeron and AMD); Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, or 98 operating system; 512 megabytes (MB) RAM.
