1. ADVANTAGE-RAIL SYSTEM

   The Advantage-Rail System is a standing transfer aid designed for use by individuals with mobility and balance disabilities. Intended for use beside the bed, toilet, or bathtub, the unit consists of a height-adjustable support rail with a padded horizontal handle and a floor plate. The rail fits in the low-profile floor plate with a push-down-and-turn motion, allowing the rail to be used in multiple locations. With a gentle lift, the handle pivots with the user to assist in taking small steps for safe transfers. When the handle is released, it locks in position to aid the user to a seated position. 2. ASSISTA-RAIL

   The Assista-Rail is a transfer aid for beds designed for use by individuals with balance or mobility disabilities. This inverted-U shaped rail slides between mattress and box spring and the required, included safety strap with side-release buckle and anti-slide grips prevents the rail from shifting during use. Made of heavy-gauge steel, the rail is equipped with a non-Latex foam grip. DIMENSIONS: The unit extends 24 inches under the mattress and up from the mattress 16 inches.    The Dependa-Bar is a wall-mounted grab bar designed for use by individuals with balance, walking, or mobility disabilities. Designed for use in the tub or shower or beside the toilet, this bar consists of a vertical wall-mounted grab bar with a horizontal fixed bar at the bottom, and a moveable P-shaped bar in the center. The moving bar locks every 45 degrees (5 positions), providing a support rail that moves with the user. This stainless steel unit mounts securely to structural studs behind bathtub walls of any construction (fiberglass, plastic, tile wall, etc.). The unit includes a fixed dual rail and a horizontal bar (ModBar) that can be repositioned to an optimal support location. Lift to unlock, hold up to rotate freely, and lower any time to lock. The ModBar pivots and locks every 45 degrees and moves in step with the user. The ModRail assembly secures to ModRail Bracket via a securing knurled knob.     The SuperPole Transfer System is a transfer aid designed to assist individuals with mobility disabilities. Available in standardand bariatric models, this modular system may be used beside the bath, toilet, bed, or chair and offers sturdy support. Made of rigid heavy-gauge steel, the pole features a slip-resistant rubberized foam grip, a low-profile base, and a rubber friction pad on the top and floor anchor plate to prevent twisting during use. The system is available with the pole only, with a SuperBar, or with a SuperTrapeeze. INSTALLATION: No structural reinforcement is needed and only basic tools are required to complete the jackscrew installation between the floor and the ceiling. The top anchor plate has holes for two screws to be anchored directly into ceiling studs for stability. A bottom zinc-plated extension screw with cover sleeve further enhances stability. 14. SUPERPOLE F.R.S.

    SuperPole F.R.S. is a vertical pole transfer aid designed for use by individuals with balance, mobility, or walking disabilities. The unit is a portable steel pole that provides standing and transferring support in institutional (concrete floor) applications. This is a compact alternative to the SuperPole (see entry) floor to ceiling pole system that eliminates the need for ceiling attachment. The SuperPole FRS is placed into the installed floor receptacle and secured into the receptacle by turning the knob on top of the SuperPole FRS pole. The floor receptacle installs flush with the finished floor surface. When not in use, the floor receptacle is sealed with a liquid-tight flush mount cap. The cap is removed by engaging two pins on the bottom of the pole into two holes in the cap, permitting the cap to be removed by turning it with the pole. The loose cap will not be lost while the pole is in the receptacle, as it has a storage location in the top knob of the pole, covered with a decorative rubber grip. DIMENSIONS: The floor receptacle is 3.9375 inches high x 1.875 inches in diameter (fits into a 2-inch cored hole). The pole is 57 inches long and 53.25 inches above the floor.     The SuperPole Parallel Bar System is portable parallel bars designed for short-term walking therapy for people with walking, nerological, or lower extremity disabilities. Central to the system are floor-to-ceiling steel SuperPole grab bars (see also separate entry), which provide a secure structure that can be installed in minutes between a floor and ceiling. SuperPoles fix securely between the floor and ceiling by jackscrew expansion. The steel horizontal rails are height adjustable with an extremely low range for pediatric applications. Rail holder brackets feature non-scratching plastic linings and a non-deforming tightening system. Rail holder sleeves fit into rail holder brackets and are secured with captive knobs.     The SuperPole Traveler is a portable transfer aid designed for use by individuals with balance, walking, or mobility disabilities. Central to the system is a floor-to-ceiling vertical steel grab bar, which provides a secure structure that can be installed in minutes between a floor and ceiling. The unit installs by turning the jackscrew at the bottom of the pole. The screw expands the pole to create enough tension between the floor and ceiling to hold the pole secure. Rubber pads on the ceiling plate and the floor plate hold pole secure and prevent marring of floor and ceiling. For transport and storage, the pole splits into two pieces.
