   King's Pride 1000 is a heavy-duty motorized bed designed for use by individuals with severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. The bed has multiple positioning options, including Trendelenberg, reverse Trendelenberg, or cardio chair. Independent head and knee gatch allow personalized positioning. The foot section plateaus to reduce edema of the lower extremities. The bed has a foam mattress with Ventrex ticking and an eight-button control for all functions. 1. BIG BOYZ SCALE SYSTEM (MODEL 1226)

   The Big Boyz Scale System, model 1226, is a digital scale accessory designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This is a retrofit weighing system that uses four transducers to turn an entire bed into a scale system. It works with all Big Boyz bariatric bed models, including King's Pride and Queen's Pride (see separate entries). The user’s weight is displayed on a 16-character dot matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) with L.E.D. backlighting. Weight may be viewed in either pounds or kilograms, with a display resolution of 0.1 kilograms (100 grams). The system also has a weight change mode that monitors weight relative to zero in order to observe variations in weight, and a freeze mode that allows a caregiver to adjust the bed or add a pillow or book without effecting the patient’s displayed weight. Systems are available for the following bed models from Big Boyz Industries: Queen’s Pride 600LM, Queen’s Pride 600LM-Convertible, Queen’s Pride 800TC, and King’s Pride 1000.
