    The Eye-Snap Low Vision is a voice output reading machine and video magnifier designed for individuals who are blind or have low vision. The Eye-Snap Low Vision scans text or numbers or numbers on paper, including open books, placed on its flatbed below a camera mounted on an arm extending above the base unit. It then reads the scanned text using optical character recognition (OCR) technology and speaks the text aloud. The unit starts reading the document within 4 seconds in a clear female or male voice. The volume is adjustable using a control wheel on the base of the unit. The Eye-Snap Low Vision also is a video magnifier with 18x magnification that displays the text on a 19-inch monitor (included). It also offers enhanced text with multiple color combination options (font, background and highlight colors), and multiple font styles and options. The Eye-Snap Low Vision is controlled with a keypad with large tactile buttons, which include functions such as start, pause and mode that can adjust the device to reading a document with text in column or tabular formats.
