1. COMPU-TTY KA300 ALARM MONITOR SYSTEM

   The Compu-TTY KA300 Alarm Monitor System is an emergency alert system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This system connects all existing alarm devices in within a small, medium, or large building with a wireless link system. The system covers a broad area, manages up to 1,024 different codes, and displays up to three alarm channels. A bright strobe light, a loud speaker, and a strong bed shaker (all included)provide alerts at all times. Connect all existing alarm devices in your dwelling together with the wireless link system. Cover abroad area when being able to display up to three alarm channels. A Time Condition signal filter reduces nuisance false alarms. POWER: Uses standard current with battery backup. OPTIONS: Weather alert radio with attached transmitter to transmit incoming emergency messages to the alarm monitor.

2. COMPU-TTY MEMORY PRINTER (MODEL MP2000D)

   The Memory Printer TDD, models MP2000D, is a TTY/TDD with a printer for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. It has all the functions of the Porta Printer 2000 and 2000D (see separate entry) plus memory. It has a 20 column, 20 character blue/green vacuum fluorescent display and a 20 column, thermal printer that provides condensed and wide printing. You may select extra large characters in the form of 20, 24 or 12 chaarcters per line. You may also receive characters in upper case and transmit in lower case. Other features include 5.5 mm character height; TTY Call Alert; Baudot code, 45.5 Baudot; international speed; electronic voice; acoustic cups that accomodate both square and round handsets; tone/pulse dialing; call progress screen display; dual modular jacks; and auto answer with fixed message.    The Portaview and Portaview Jr, models 20+ and PV-20, are telecommunication devices for the deaf and hard of hearing. Both models have the following features: 5.5 millimeter character height; 10 character display in blue/green; four row keyboard with 43 keys; and rugged injection molded case. The Portaview 20+ has the following additional features: 8k memory; built in directory; auto answer; four message buffer; remote retrieval; voice announcer; three hour rechargeable battery; printer part; and keyboard dialing. POWER: Nicad rechargeable 1.2 AH, four cell, sealed, customer replaceable battery pack.

5. PCT POCKET PORTABLE TDD / TERMINAL & PCT TABLE TOP UNIT

   Pocket terminal for TDD or ASCII (up to 1200 baud) communications, similar in size to large calculator, approximately 8 3/4 by 4 inches; calculator-style keys in QWERTY layout. Automatically recognizes Baudot or ASCII code being sent. Connects via telephone jack or via specially designed acoustic coupler for phone booths, mobile phones, office phones, etc. Includes phone directory/automatic dialer, automated logon to mainframes or information services, and offline message preparatyion with editing. Backlighted LCD display, 8 lines of 40 characters. Parallel printer interface. Simultaneous high speed communications with another PCT terminal.    The Doorknock 125, model K-DK125, is a doorbell signal system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This signal system has a large, bright LED indicator that flashes when someone knocks at the door. The system can also be used as a flashlight during a power outage. Other features include an on/off switch and brackets to hang the unit over the top of a door. A portable system, it can be used when traveling or in offices, dorms, or apartments. POWER: Uses a 9-volt battery (not included). The unit is equipped with a battery low indicator. COLOR: Light grey.

2. KROWN AMPLIFIED RINGER 05 WITH STROBE LIGHT (MODEL K-RA05)

   The Krown Amplified Ringer 05 with Strobe Light, model K-RA05, is a telephone signal indicator designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Intended for use in monitoring a telephone line for incoming calls, the unit has a bright flashing strobe light to alert the user that the phone is ringing. This signal indicator features a 120 decibel (dB) ringer operated by power from the telephone line. The built in strobe light has an on/off switch. POWER: Uses three double-A batteries (not included) or the included alternating current (AC) adapter (included). COLOR: White. WARRANTY: One year.

3. KROWN DUAL VIBRATING ALARM CLOCK WITH DOORBELL AND DOOR KNOCK (MODEL KA1000)

   The Dual Alarm Clock with Doorbell and door Knock model KA1000, is a vibrating and flashing alarm clock, telephone signal amplifier, and doorbell signal designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This unit can alert the user either by sound, light, or bed shaker, and includes a built-in telephone ring signaler, wireless doorknock/doorbell transmitter, and built-in wireless receiver for Krown KA300 alarm monitor transmitters. The unit can be expanded into other rooms using KA1000RR remote receivers (see separate entry).

4. TELETALKER (MODEL 040)

   The Teletalker is a large button amplifier telephone designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. This phone enables the user to press a button to press a single button to activate amplification while providing a volume control for maximum comfort and clarity and comfort. When the handset is hung up, the unit automatically returns to normal operation, protecting others from unintended amplification. Other standard features include up to 55 decibels (dB) or high frequency gain, an amplification indicator that lights up when amplification is in use, a volume control which increases volume up to 25 dB, an enhance control which boosts high frequency speech sounds up to 30 dB, a flashing ring indicator, a 95 dB high output ringer with volume and tone, a redial button, large high-contrast buttons, dynamic signal processing to improve intelligibility, dynamic noise reduction to eliminate background line noise, and anti-feedback circuitry.
