Measures 96mm width, 60mm height and 35 mm depth. Weighs 120 grams. Cord measures 1 meter. (3 3/4 by 2 1/2inches). With one AA alkaline battery, will last about 150 days ( when used in 60 second intervals). Time to change battery when second hand stops moving. Available in off-white and gray. Good for travelling, no outlet required.

(Verified 03/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The PocketComm is a portable, pocket-size text telephone or TT with voice carry over (VCO) designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing or who have communication disabilities. The VCO can be used with TTY compatible cell phones, cordless phones, pay phones, office phones, and emergency call boxes. The unit features a 40-character two-line liquid crystal display (LCD), an LED backlight on/off button for the display and keyboard, a 32-key four-row keyboard, 25 function keys, and a signal LED for incoming and outgoing messages. Other features include 32 kilobytes of memory for message storage and retrieval, 10 programmable memory buffers for greeting messages, and a 2.5 millimeter connector for cell and cordless phones. An elastic strap adapts to any phone and a microphone is included for VCO users when connected to a compatible cordless or cell phone. A carrying case with holders for the user's manual and spare batteries is included. POWER: Uses rechargeable batteries (two included) or the included 3 volts DC adaptor.
