    The Braille+ Mobile Manager, model 1-07450-00, is a personal digital assistant (PDA) and voice output electronic organizer designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This braille-input version of the Icon from LevelStar has a Perkins-style Braille keyboard, a 30 gigabyte (GB) hard drive, and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability. Features include word processing; an MP3 player; a book player that supports DAISY books and Bookshare; voice recording; an address book, clock, stopwatch, and calendar; and the ability to transfer files and synchronize appointments with a Windows personal computer (PC). The unit comes with a carrying case, lanyard, ear buds, interface and USB cables, an audio tutorial, and Quick Start guide in print and braille. POWER: Uses rechargeable lithium ion battery and alternating current (AC) adapter/charger (included). Extra batteries and adapters are available. OPTIONS: Extra power sync cable with USB-A; extra earbud.

    Icon is a personal digital assistant (PDA) and voice output electronic organizer designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. Used by itself, this device is a portable electronic organizer and digital talking book player. Used in conjunction with the optional docking station, it is a notetaker and Internet access device. Pre-installed software applications include a calendar, address book, Web browser, e-mail, word processor, music player, podcast player / recorder, voice recorder, journal, clock, stopwatch, and calculator. The device has a 30-gigabyte (GB) hard drive that can store thousands of digital books, with a digital book player that can play DAISY text books and digital audio books. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and built-in Wi-Fi for wireless Internet connectivity. OPTIONS: Docking station with braille or alphabetic keyboard, enabling the user to take notes, perform full-capability word processing, browse the Internet, and read and write emails. Other options include stereo speakers, mono earpiece, mono microphone, 3.5-millimeter stereo headphone jack, 2.5-millimeter stereo headset jack. POWER: Uses rechargeable lithium ion battery. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): .975 x 5.09 x 3.35 inches. WARRANTY: One-year warranty on hardware against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser.
