C.L.A.S.S.
C.L.A.S.S. (Complete Language Approach to Social Skills) is a personal skills and safety awareness tutorial program designed for children who have cognitive or learning disabilities or autism. This program can be used to teach social skills and personal safety. The program's Ready-to-use Picture-Assisted Reading and Writing materials and activities provide repeated interactions with the concepts promoting internalization and generalization. This software has two separate units available for purchase. The "Emotions: Expressing Negative Feelings" unit helps students recognize feelings of anger, reduce anxiety, and learn appropriate ways to express themselves. The "Safety: Leaving Poisons Alone" unit helps students learn about poisons, how to identify them, and what to do when poisons are found. Each unit covers all areas of language: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Each unit also comes with vocabulary, social stories, communication boards, PixWriter word banks, activities and scripts. Interactive Board Books are reading tutorial materials designed for children who have cognitive or learning disabilities. This bundle of five thick board books features stories with moveable pieces. PAL ASSESSMENT
The PAL (Picture Assisted Library) Assessment is a language development assessment program designed for use with children who have cognitive, communication or learning disabilities or autism. The program is a comprehensive, criterion-referenced test that allows a teacher to sequentially identify literacy milestones and behaviors. Using the PAL Assessment, teachers can assess receptive and expressive language skills, including identification and use of symbols, print awareness, emerging reading and writing skills and developing conventional literacy skills. The writing section can be used to evaluate and track expressive language growth. The reading section can be used to evaluate and track receptive language growth. The program also helps teachers identify literacy goals, track literacy achievement and Response to Intervention (RTI) progress, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and support portfolio assessments. Each PAL Assessment booklet contains four scoring/observation periods.

Picture It is a symbolic language picture creation program designed for use by individuals with communication disabilities. This program quickly adds picture symbols to text by automatically locating symbols that match typed text. This program includes 10,500 high-resolution images in black-and-white or color. Custom images can be added by the user. It includes the LSP Thesaurus to enhance the software's ability to match the appropriate picture or symbol to a word.
