  1. INTEO DIGITAL HEARING AID Picture of INTEO DIGITAL HEARING AID

Inteo is a programmable hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. During the fitting session, the hearing aid's Dynamic Integrator is profiled with information about the user's personal preferences and needs. In use, the Dynamic Integrator tailors sound to the user’s needs in a specific listening situation. Voices are detected in the user's surroundings so the user can hear them regardless of the sound environment and the location of the speaker. The hearing aid is available in smaller models or an open fitting, as well as behind the ear.

  2. WIDEX PASSION 440 HEARING AID Picture of WIDEX PASSION 440 HEARING AID

The Widex Passion440 Hearing Aid is a (RIC) hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The receiver, or loudspeaker, is placed into the ear canal, while the rest of the hearing aid is placed behind the ear. This allows for a reduction in size and minimizes the risk of acoustic feedback. There are three fitting options: Instant receiver ear-tip flex; instant receiver ear-tip open, which allows for open fitting for individuals with mild hearing loss; and custom receiver ear-tip flex. POWER: Uses ZN-Air size 10 battery. OPTIONS: RC4 remote control, allowing the user to change listening programs and adjust the volume; replacement for microphone grid that protects the microphone from dirt and moisture; NanoCare, a nano-coated wax guard system that protects the receiver and safeguards the sound path from the receiver ear-tip to the eardrum. COLOR: The hearing aid is available in a total of 14 colors, including several skin shades from pale to dark brown, white, black, red, green, blue, and shocking pink. The optional remote control is available in fashion grey, pearl white, or classic grey. The microphone grid is available in platinum, gold, or transparent.

  1. NOAH SYSTEM Picture of NOAH SYSTEM

The NOAH System is a case management program designed for use by audiologists and other hearing care professionals. Developed by a consortium of over 80 hearing care companies worldwide, this program provides a unified system for performing client-related tasks. When a professional measures a client’s hearing loss, whether with audiograms, speech tests, or loudness scaling, results are passed automatically to the common database, for use by any of several fitting systems from other suppliers. This allows the professional to try out alternative fitting systems from different suppliers when selecting and tuning a hearing instrument. The system can also be used to record journal notes regarding the client session. All information is automatically saved in the client’s record. This framework allows hearing instrument fitting, audiological measurement, and office management systems to share a common database. The program comes with modules for performing basic fitting and measurement functions. Additional fitting and measurement modules are available separately from licensed member companies. These modules allow the program to work with measurement equipment from more than 10 major suppliers and to fit hearing instruments from more than 30 different suppliers. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers or network servers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows Vista, XP Professional (Service Pack 2), 2000 (Service Pack 4), 2008 Server, 2003 Server (Service Pack 1), or 2000 Server operating system (32-bit versions only); Pentium III 1 gigaHertz (GHz) processor; 512 megabytes (MB) RAM; 5 gigabytes (GB) of free hard drive space with 1 additional GB of free space for each installed module; screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels; CD drive; USB port for Bluetooth adapter; Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later; and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

  2. NOAHLINK Picture of NOAHLINK

NOAHlink is a hearing aid programming interface designed for use by audiologists in fitting programmable hearing aids. This unit uses wireless Bluetooth technology to connect to a personal computer (PC) running a NOAH 3 hearing aid fitting module. The wireless Bluetooth connection allows the audiologist to perform fitting tasks up to 16 feet from the computer. The lightweight unit is worn around the neck of the individual being fitted. Hearing instrument cables move with the unit, allowing the individual to walk around and test different sound environments. POWER: Uses rechargeable Ni-MH double-A or alkaline double-A 1.5 volt battery. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 1.22 x 3.58 x 3.94 inches. WEIGHT: Approx. 141 grams including battery.
