  1. PLAY-IT-NOW TUNES FOR GUITAR Picture of PLAY-IT-NOW TUNES FOR GUITAR

Play-It-Now Tunes for Guitar are audio music training courses designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision, dyslexia, or other visual learning disabilities. The lessons teach guitarists to play songs without the use of any reading materials. Each individual song lesson is delivered entirely on a standard CD using an all-audio method of instruction. Audio instructions presented by expert musicians teach the user how to play every note, chord, and strum of a song's primary guitar part. The lessons include playing examples with a full band accompaniment and a final Play Along. The series includes lessons on over 175 songs in genres such as Blues, Children's, Christian, Country, Holiday, Pop, R&B, Reggae, and Rock.

  2. TALKINGTABS GUITAR INSTRUCTION COMPLETE BEGINNERS SERIES SPECIAL EDITION Picture of TALKINGTABS GUITAR INSTRUCTION COMPLETE BEGINNERS SERIES SPECIAL EDITION

The TalkingTabs Guitar Instruction Complete Beginners Series Special Edition is an audio guitar instruction course designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision, dyslexia, or other visual learning disabilities. The course includes an audio table of contents on a standard CD that explains what is taught in each of the 16 lessons, and also discusses how to physically navigate through the 26-CD guitar course. Without materials to read, the 20-hour curriculum guides the absolute beginner from learning the anatomy of the instrument to a working knowledge of the basic chords, scales, and techniques needed to begin playing contemporary guitar music. This all-audio approach to music instruction allows the student to focus on the feel of the instrument while effectively developing the primary sensory application used in music: the use of hearing alone to absorb and internalize the material at hand. Audio instructions are combined with guided playing exercises. Lessons include step-by-step audio instruction on tuning, picking, strumming, fretting notes, scales, open chords, power chords, 12 bar blues, and other techniques. Three Play-it-Now all-audio song lessons are placed at strategic points so the student can apply newly learned skills to playing popular songs.
