The Bottom Buddy Toilet Tissue Holder is a toileting aid designed for use by individuals with grasping, neurological, reaching, or upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. This device has a curved handle and a rounded head. The soft, flexible head has three tulip-petal sections that pull back to allow the user to insert and grip any toilet paper or pre-moistened wipe securely. Once inserted, the toilet tissue covers the rounded head and the user does not need to touch it again. A press of the button on the back of the handle engages a rod that pushes out the soiled tissue into the toilet bowl. A 10.5-inch long storage bag is included. DIMENSIONS: 11 inches long. WEIGHT: 4 ounces.

  2. FREEDOM WAND Picture of FREEDOM WAND

The Freedom Wand is a toileting aid designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or mobility disabilities. This sanitary, multi-purpose, multi-length portable, toilet tissue aid consists of three pieces: The head, the extension, and the handle. The head is equipped with four retractable fingers to grasp toilet tissue, a square-handled straight razor, a loofah, or ointment applicator. The slide button releases the item being held or releases tissue into the toilet. The unit can be used with or without the extension which increases the overall length of the device to increase reach. An optional extra extension can be added for additional length. The handle is contoured for ease in holding and has a soft secure grip. It also has a loop on the end for hanging. A carrying bag is included. The device disassembles for transport and storage. OPTIONS: Replacement head, replacement handle, additional extension, and an extra carrying bag are available. DIMENSIONS: The standard length is 21 inches with all three pieces; however, it can be used at 9, 14, or 21 inches, or at 25 inches with an extra extension.

The SelfWipe Bathroom Toilet Aid is a toileting aid designed for use by individuals with arthritis or upper extremity disabilities. This device allows people with limited use of their hands and arms to function independently when using the toilet. The device has a handle at one end and a clamp at the other, and can be used and operated with one hand. When the user presses a button on top of the handle, the clamp opens. Toilet tissue is wrapped around the clamp, and when the button is released the tissue is clasped. After the tissue is used, the button is pressed again to release the soiled tissue. The button can be operated using only the thumb. The device has a "finger shaped" tip which allows pressure to be applied in precise locations, and the handle has a roller feature that allows the rolling of toilet tissue with one hand.
