The Veigel Push – Rock Left Hand Control is a hand control designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This control operates the accelerator by moving the handle in a circular motion toward the rear and downward. This can be done even while the hand rests on the wheel. Braking is done conventionally by pushing the handle forward. The control is located underneath the steering wheel and is operated with the left hand. Every motion of the hand is translated directly to the gas and brake pedal for ease in driving. The handle is shaped in a way that both hands can be on the steering wheel while operatng the control.
