    The Microloop and Microloop FM are small, portable induction loop amplification systems designed for TV viewing, classrooms, meetings, and automobiles (with optional auto kit). These units will connect to existing public address systems. Microloop is compatible with all "T" switch equipped hearing aids, cochlear implants, vibro-tactile devices, and induction receivers.     The Microloop II is an audio loop amplification system designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. Place the loop wire around the listening area to transmit and amplify speech signals to the "T" coil switch found on many hearing aids. Designed for use in a conference or classroom setting, the system includes loop wire on a wind up spool, a clip on microphone for the primary speaker, and a carrying case. The Microloop II FM performs the same function but includes a wireless microphone. OPTIONS: A special receiver for individuals without hearing aids or "T" switches and an auto kit are available.   19. MINICOM IV

    The Minicom IV is a text telephone (TT) or telecommunication device for the deaf (TDD). The device features an easy-touch 43-key, 4-row keyboard; a bright, tilted 20-character display; and a printer port for connecting to an external printer (not included). This text telephone also offers Turbo Code to provide greater user control over the speed and pace of conversations and an Auto ID feature to automatically notify parties being called that a text telephone is being used. POWER: Comes with an AC adapter and rechargeable batteries. OPTIONS: Dust cover and soft carrying case. WARRANTY: One year limited warranty. One- and two-year extended warranties are available for additional cost.

  20. MINIPRINT 420 & 425

    The Miniprint 420 and 425 are basic printing text telephones or telecommunication devices for the deaf. Both devices feature Turbo Code, which enables more natural cinversational speed and interrupt capabilities. Other features include Auto ID, which notifies hearing persons of an incoming TTY calls; built in 24-character printers; three selectable print sizes; and a sticky key function for single-handed typing. Both models also feature direct connection, with two telephone jacks and a pre-programmed auto-answer message. While in direct connect mode, a built-in ring flasher indicates an incoming call. The Miniprint 420 and 425 also offer a selectable number of rings for auto-answer, keyboard dialing and follow on dialing, tone or pulse dial, and call progress monitor indicating the ringing/or busy status of the call. The Miniprint 425 also has a computer-style keyboard with "GA" and "SK" keys and locator keys on the "home" row for touch typists. OPTIONS: A dust cover and a soft carrying case.   21. PAY PHONE TTY (MODELS M120, M240 & M240-FS)

    The Pay Phone TTY is a telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD) designed to work with any public telephone. The Pay Phone TTY is housed in a tamper-resistant metal drawer underneath the telephone. When in use, the drawer is open to permit the user to type on the keyboard and view the display. The unit works with most types of public telephones and popular enclosures, and has no affect on the use of the telephone by the hearing public. The caller simply lifts the telephone handset, inserts coin, and dials the number. (Long distance calls are handled by dialing the TDD operator.) A dial tone, ring, or busy signal is indicated by the signal light on the front of the drawer. When the person answering begins to type, the drawer containing the TDD slides out and the caller can begin typing. The device features a 43-key keyboard with a four-row QWERTY layout. It is mounted at an angle inside the drawer for comfortable for typing. Model M120 has one-line 20 character blue/green vacuum fluorescent display, while the M240 and M240-FS have two-line, 2 x 40 character LCD display. The M240-FS is designed for outdoor, all weather applications, while the others are meant for interior use only. All three models store the conversation in a 2,000 character memory so the caller can scroll through and review conversations.     The Pay Phone TTY is a telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD) designed to work with any public telephone. Designed for use in public areas and buildings where vandalism is not a concern, the unit is designed to be connected accousically to the pay phone or installed by a professional installer for direct connection; the unit is intended for mounting on the enclosure shelf below the existing phone.     The Pocketalker Pro is a personal FM amplification system designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. This lightweight unit features a large, easy-to-use volume control and full-range frequency response and is compatible with telecoil couplers or direct audio-input hearing aids. The kit includes the amplifier, a microphone, a belt clip, a television listening cord, and a carrying case. The system also comes with a choice of a wide-range earphone, a mini earphone, or lightweight headphones. POWER: Uses double-A alkaline batteries (included). An optional rechargeable battery kit and an alternating current adapter are also available. OPTIONS: A telelink teleohone coupler is available. WARRANTY: Three-year warranty.

  24. SHELF-TOP TTY PAY PHONE

    The Shelf-Top TTY Pay Phone is a pay telephone device for the deaf (TDD). This all-steel TTY is vandal- and spill-resistant, features a full-sized keyboard, and mounts directly to the shelf under existing pay telephones. The unit can be installed independently of the telephone service provider.

  25. SINGLE FUNCTION SIGNALER

    The Sonic Alert Telephone Ring Signal, model TR 55, is a flashing light telephone signal designed to alert individuals with hearing disabilities to the ringing of a telephone. The unit plugs into any standard outlet and modular phone jack. When the telephone rings, the signaler causes any lamp plugged into it to flash. Models TR 55 and TR 75 have the capability to transmit to remote receivers (sold separately) and model TR 75 also features a switch to enable the lamp to function for room lighting as well as a phone signal.   27. SUPERCOM & SUPERCOM 4400

    The Supercom is a desktop telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD or TT). Standard features include direct connect, auto-answer, remote message retrieval, keyboard dialing, memory dialing, and redialing features, as well as a printing port to connect with an external printer. The 8k non-volatile memory enables the user to save and send messages, store up to 10 different phone numbers, and store and send personal auto-answer messages. Supercom features the TDD Announcer, a voice announcement that alerts hearing people to text telephone calls. This device connects directly to the telephone line and automatically answers calls with the owner's personal message. This model features a 20-character, vacuum fluorescent display with a .25 inch character height. The keyboard has 43-key, 4-row QWERTY layout.     The Uniphone 1140 is a a combination text telephone (TT or telecommunications device for the deaf, TTY/TDD) and standard telephone with voice carry over designed to enable persons who are deaf or hard of hearing and hearing individuals to use the same telephone. The unit is compact and features a display so that persons with hearing disabilities but enough speech to converse can speak directly to the party they are calling and read the responses as text. Other features include a standard hearing-aid compatible handset with volume control (20 decibel gain); adjustable ringer volume; hearing aid compatible handset; Turbo Code, which allows real time transmissions and interruptions; and Auto ID, which automatically sends signals to alert people to an incoming TT call. Other standard features include memory for storing conversations and auto answer messages, 10 speed dial buttons, emergency dialing keys, programmable auto answer message, Voice Carry Over (VCO) request, a TTY on/off switch, and a built in ring flasher to indicate incoming calls and interruptions. The four-row, 52-key keyboard features a QWERTY layout. Special keys include Dial, Menu, and Volume keys, as well as arrow keys to select functions and reveiw conversations. It also has sticky-key for single handed typing. The conversation is displayed on a 48-character LCD display with contrast control and backlight. Call progress indicates when the line you call is ringing or busy. This phone is also a standard telephone for incoming and outgoing voice phone calls. This phone also features a printer port for connecting an external printer (not included). POWER: Telephone connects directly to phone line.     The UniVox DLS-50 Domestic Loop System is a loop amplification system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. By enabling a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil to function as an in-the-ear loudspeaker, this home loop system helps the user to Hear television, radio, telephone, & voices despite amvient noise. The system has a small, thin amplifier, accompanied by a thin Loop Pad that slips under a chair, and/or a long wire loop that covers up to 600 square feet. The amplifier has volume control, a volume level indicator, and tone controls for increased clarity. Installation is accomplished by plugging the system in. The system is moveable to other places, including a car, with optional power source & microphone. POWER: Uses adapter.   33. WILLIAMS SOUND NECKLOOP INDUCTION COIL

    The Williams Sound Neckloop Induction Coil is an induction loop amplification system designed to be used in conjunction with hearing aids for individuals who are hard of hearing. The unit is designed to magnetically couple audio output from a listening system into a hearing aid equipped with a telephone coil. The device works with tape recorders, televisions, or any device having an 8-16 OHM audio output through a 3.5 millimeter (mm) jack. The user places the loop over the head and around the neck and plugs the unit into the earphone jack of listening sound unit.
